  1. Wouldn't be a bad signing in fairness but isn't he ruled out until October?
  2. It was actually quite nice to see us hold out on selling Debuchy until we signed our replacement!
  3. Even though we have signed Perez, Colback, De Jong, Cabella, Rivere and Janmaat, I still reckon we need to bring in 2-3 more faces in. Joel Campbell has been spoken about and I think he'd be a really good signing if we could even get him on loan. Another striker would be nice and a centre half as well as I don't particularly like the thought of Saylor and Mbiwa lining up together when Colocinni get's injured
  4. Decent signing I think, will hopefully add goals from midfield, we still need two strikers but I can see this guy being shoe-horned.
  5. Had a decent season with a very poor Hamburg but was out for a couple of months mid-way through the season with injuries. Would definitely be an improvement on what we have (or don't have) anyway!
  6. SSN saying we are in for Ba - wouldn't be surprised if we go for a loan deal if Gomis deal falls through again!
  7. If we get a bid from PSG for £20 million we should bite their hand off - spending even a bit of it is a totally different matter though!
  8. Swansea have given us a chance now to get survival this weekend - players must ensure they beat QPR at the weekend and not focus/hope on other results going our way - if we lose against QPR at the weekend that would be horrendous.
  9. I'd still take Remy if we took up a decent deal on him - QPR look like they are going down obviously and he has got to have some form of relegation clause in his contract...
  10. Thought the pen was soft in fairness, hardly touched him, guy had already made up his mind he was going to ground well before Debuchy got near him. Not seen the games but I think he offers a lot more than Simpson.
  11. I'd be very surprised if we got this done by tomorrow 11pm, would be incredible if we bring him in though!
  12. I'd say Ince is a bit more experienced and a better footballer all round, it could take Sammy a while to get to that stage.
  13. Aubameyang would be an unbelievable signing this window but I think we've done all our business.
  14. I'm feeling slightly more optomistic that we might actually win this one having made a couple of new signings and with Colo staying! Having said that, I still feel we need a striker and albeit we haven't heard anything about a new one coming in (not unless there is something happening in the background - just like Cisse last year) then I think we'll be going into this game with Cisse, Ameobi and Gouffran available. Krul Debuchy Mbiwa Colo Santon Gouffran Cabaye Anita Marveaux Ameobi Cisse That's what I think we'll line up as.
  15. We need him out this club asap, he's a useless waste of space.
  16. http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/12691/8428506/Lyon-waiting-on-Bafetimbi-Gomis-to-make-decision-on-his-future Possibly the replacement for Ba; another guy with 6 months left on his contract that we may be able to get for a cut-price fee. Pretty sure I've read on Sky Sports website that he's been linked with us.
  17. Got mixed up with Gouffran and Gourcuff, deary me...
  18. Gouffran would be decent on loan, help take the creative burden off Cabaye, Ben Arfa etc but he's a bit of a lazy bastard is he not? Danny Graham would be decent back-up but not to replace Ba!
  19. We are in some serious trouble, absolutely ridiculous that we are about to drop points at our own stadium against this mob.
  20. It would've been aye, ironically a couple of months after he signed we went down. I'm getting to the stage where I think we're running out of time and options and we'll end up going into the rest of the season with our current crop of players along with one or two deadline day panic buys.
  21. With our current situation I'd rather we bought someone premiership proven to get us through the rest of the season and keep us up rather than delve into the european market. When you look at things anyway, Remy was a very hit or miss signing in the first place, if he played well and kept us up then aye he'd be a great signing, but when you see he's scored once in 14 games and he's been injured for parts of the season all the signs point to flop. We need guys that can hit the ground running and make an instant impact.
  22. With Debuchy hopefully signing I think this signals the end for Simpson especially as his contracts up at the end of the season. Never really liked Santon playing left back, too one footed and predictable, quite a few times last night he was one on one and lost the ball apart from the one time he done Naismith a peach. I think we should probably get another left back to tighten up our defence a wee bit as well as another centre half to partner Coloccini and then eventually replace Colo, I think he's starting to become a bit poor.
