  1. WTF????? you'd think he'd have more pressing issues atm!
  2. CHRIS HUGHTON is waiting in the wings to come in as Newcastle United caretaker boss for a third stint should Alan Shearer not get the green light from Mike Ashley to take charge. This would most likely go down like a lead balloon on Tyneside, with fans being asked to part with their season ticket cash from today – 40 years to the day since United won the Fairs Cup. Former Tottenham player Hughton took charge of United in the aftermath of Keegan-gate last September and again took the reins after Joe Kinnear when he suffered heart problems. Hughton’s record in charge during the first stint was played four, lost four during what many Toon fans call Black September. And when Kinnear was admitted to hospital just hours before the West Brom game in February, the win at the Hawthorns was as good as it got for the ex-White Hart Lane favourite. Hughton then won just one game in six matches, meaning a tally of one victory in 10 games compared to Alan Shearer’s run of one win, two draws and five defeats when he came in to lift a demoralised and drained Magpies side on April 1. Calls for Shearer to be installed as boss have been overwhelming since the season ended, with first- team stars Habib Beye, Sebastien Bassong, Steven Taylor, Steve Harper and Nicky Butt all giving their seal of approval, while Toon heroes Bobby Moncur, David Ginola, Pavel Srnicek, Rob Lee, Mick Martin, John Anderson and John Beresford have also backed Big Al. However, the Chronicle understands that the current regime are unlikely to pour any more cash into the beleaguered club, with Shearer now out of contract and Joe Kinnear also seeing his deal expire on the final day of the Premier League season. oh fuck!!
  3. i guess the only thing i can say in Shepherds defence is he knows how a football club is run. not sure about the other lot. i know they have 'football links' but how many of these 'links' know about running a club? i reckon the shepherd lot would be better for us for that reason only.
  4. As much of a cunt as he is, he's worth the fee IMO. Kaka and Ronaldo will make a massive difference to Real Madrid. only up front. theres still the problem of a leaky defence. twas their biggest weakness last season. great signings but daft money imo!! anyway, i thought valencia from wigan was lined up for manu??
  5. He wouldn't have needed to be if we hadn't chucked a new contract at him in January. That's where money has been pissed down the drain tbh. Fucking Kinnear. Ashley appointed him tbh (and surely must have sanctioned Stroller's new deal?) FatAsh didnt appoint him. would of been Chairman or D.O.F. either way its been a fuckin joke!!
  6. Can you believe some people actually want this clown as Prime Minister Theres a Video on Sky News where his ''security'' are actually throwing women to the ground to get them out the way. There was hell on when the police did the same last month! In fairness if you watch the video the car is being kicked and hit and generally mobbed as they try to drive away (don't see anyone hit by it though). But again this just show how such things benefit the BNP, you can hardly throw allegations of racist violent thugs with any real moral validity when you are basically being violent thugs yourselves. nail, head, hit!
  7. Although they'd do themselves some favours if they thought about what they were going to say, and how to respond to questions they don't like, when going on the news to speak about it. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/8091727.stm A dignified peaceful protest and a thoughtful calm media response would have been much less polarising (and given the BNP less ammunition) and much, much more damaging to the BNP. she sounds like shes frothing at the mouth!! "i believe in freedom of speech but not for facists!" - well thats a facist statement straight away - ie. i dont agree with you so i'm going to try and gag you. ffs at the end of the day, shes the one pelting eggs at what is a legally elected mep. stupid fuckin bint!!

    Kaka

So very not funny. and i so desperatly wanted to believe..........
  9. yeah me too mate, but then again, i have been married for 8 yrs!!!
  10. bound to happen i guess. you know what they say tho, any publicity is good publicity. also gives the bnp the chance to play the victim. no right to freedom of speech, no right to be democratically elected, etc. etc. bit silly really
  11. saving private ryan. the start still gives me the shivers!!
  12. for the human contact man!!!! lets face it if your in a home any conversation would be gr8!!!!!!
  13. Fucking hell man, perspective required. Aye it's nothing a good donkey ride wouldn't eclipse. well were all going to blackpool next season so no issues there then!!!!! :icon_lol: :icon_lol: :icon_lol:
  14. still a crap camera (by modern standards) but i guess most people who buy i phones arent really that bothered by that. if they'd stuck a 5mp or above camera on there i guess i would be interested cos the rest of it sounds pretty amazing tbf!
  15. PMSL!!! ye cannit say that!!!! oh wait, you just did!!!!
  16. Except it's largely been deemed "racist" for most of the past 40 years, only relatively recently has that begun to change (very recently in some contexts). Although there's been a bit of a run on it in the last few years (see Brown's "British jobs for British workers" , shame he got called on that one really ). Not really. Im proud to be British. Theres plenty of black and asian people people proud to be British. The mongs at the BNP tell them they arent British though! very true, however theres plenty who arent. and before you reply i have no problem with people of any colour as long as there decent and hard working.
  17. Howay guys, go easy on him. He was our club captain!!!!
  18. The whole league will see it as a cup final and will undoubtedly raise their game. I honestly don't think any club will "fear" us next season. They've nothing to lose either way! If they lose they bring out "newcastle are the superior club and they were always expected to win" if they win it will be on of their greatest victories that season. Especially for the likes of Scunthorpe, Doncaster and Blackpool! They'll release DVD's of it! I do agree with the whole fa cup final mind set but just taking the keegan promotion as experience the start did it and after that teams literally melted at sjp Is there any suggestion, at all, that's going to happen again? I think we need to be aiming for 65+ points to cushion the points deduction administration is going to take at this rate. aye, it looks more and more like its going to happen! Fuckin Ashley!!! Boycout the Club!!!
  19. What happened?? did Arsenal turn him down AGAIN!!! ;)
  20. well at least we'll be rid of that fuckin moron Craig Burley. every cloud and all that!!
  21. Well presumably if you mean outside countries get higher prices for their goods then the converse is that they would pay more for their imports? On a bigger picture I agree with someone else who said if you look at the economies of the US, India and China, the only way to be in the same ball park (sorry Stevie) is to be in an entity as large as the EU. I think an "independent" UK would be marginalised in world terms - better to be at the sentre of Europe than outside pissing in. Aye Korea, Japan, ROC, and Canada are on the bones of their arse aren't they? For an island of this size to be economically number 5 in the world is incredible. Being a smaller cog in a bigger wheel would not necessarily work for us, and you can't definitely say it would. centre of europe???? you must be joking. the eu is ran by Germany then France then the Uk is trailing in 3rd. better part of an entity the size of the Eu??? small and agile is the way to go my friend. nothing changes in the eu for years bcos its not the populace who drive it. quite the opposite tbf!! they (faceless beaurocrats) drive us. eu elections are only a semblance of democracy. no matter who gets in they are still answerable to the eu. all this bullsh*t about "red lines" told by Phoney Blair and his ilk is simply empty rhetoric designed to make them look like big butch men. only way this could possibly change is if we left the eu. Rant over!!
  22. still nowt on SSn. most likely a crock of sh*t story!!
