With the voting in January surely the award should be called the First Half of the Season Best Player, and not Player of the Year. It would be lke awarding man of the match at half time. Which to be honest, I'm sure Collingwood Insurance do most of the time. What a fuckin' stupid process. Ronaldo should win it though.

Absolutely fuckin' immense from start to finish. New tunes were spot on and the older ones, which seemed like they were played at 100mph, were as perfect as usual. Ended up very sweaty and fuckin' knackered but easily one of the best gigs I've been to.

I've already said he should go now...he's had a season and he doesn't seem up to it. I don't think he's done as badly as people make out, but I'd be happy to see him go back to the academy. Sadly, this is Newcastle, and the oyster boy is in charge so I don't hold out much hope, but now is the time to quietly let him go, see who's available and let them spend any transfer money this summer.... This whole thing about him going back to the academy; who has he actually brought through of any decent standard? Did he actually do as good a job as everyone talks about? As long as it gets him away from the first team....

Yeah. His previous goal against Man Utd was slightly more important to be fair! I really think he hasn't had a fair chance in the 1st team this season, when I've seen him he's looked far better than Huntington or Ramage tbh. or Carr, or Bramble Or Moore, or Babayaro, or Taylor, or Onyewu!
