Well I think it is Aye because we can't attract the quality of player. What's the situation with you xbox atm it says mine should be back next week. Exactly. It's like the soldiers arriving at the concentration camps, they wanted to feed the skeletal inmates up, fill their bellies so they'd feel better, but couldn't as their stomachs couldn't handle it. They had to be slowly weened from a few spoons of gruel, to soup, to porridge, to mash, to bread, to proper meat over time. Just checked the xbox and apparently "Repair Status: Device Shipped to Customer" I'm off to buy GTA4 at lunch time. with 500mil of course he could attract the top quality players. all the players are bothered about is how much they wil get paid Like Modric? your point is????? keegan doesnt have 500mil to spend but if he did he would easily have been able to get modric I think his point is Modric went to Spurs despite us offering better personal terms thus disproving your theory. did we have an offer accepted for modric? do you know what his wages are for spurs? do you know how much we were willing to offer? tbh i dont think you will I'm going off direct quotes from Mort. He could be lying of course. What are you going off though? Pure bullshit by the looks of it. what are you on about? your claiming modric chose spurs over us despite us offering better personal terms when you have no proof that was the case. Also my point was we would be able to attract top quality players with 500mil because money wouldnt be a problem so we would be able to move in on players quicker. imo the only reason he went to spurs because they made a move for him quicker No they didn't, we spoke to him first.

The Ashton of 2 years ago would be the ideal replacement however, whether he can find / sustain that form and whether West Ham would sell may be unlikely imo.
-
Unlucky, especially for such a young player in a foreign country. It's bound to be lonely for anyone being out for so long through injury, especially when they haven't been in the country for long.
-
He'll have to be replaced / get a back up for him in the summer for certain now, he's done well under Keegan and if we're going to continue with this formation then we've no one else to take his place.

Me too. I'm catholic as well. I was working in London last week and was in The Cock Tavern near Farringdon watching their game with Fiorentina. That's the pub where all the southern based Rangers fans go for games. I went there thinking they'd be a bunch of bigotted cunts, and some of them were, but the majority I spoke to were bang on, try to distance themselves from sectarianism and just love Rangers FC in the same way we love the toon. Having said that the whole bar was singing "the Nach Novo song" for 10 mins after the pens. I'm back down London next week and I'll watch the final there. I think they're more similar to us than Celtic anyway. So you've done a complete 360 in your opinion of them after one meeting? Cunts and deluded tramps was your previous assessment. What if you have a bit of craic with a few Spurs / Liverpool / mackem fans? Will you then immediately change your opinion on all of them? I dunno which is more pathetic, your initial inaccurate, bigoted view of them or the ease with which you'll change your mind. Had a bit of crack with some Yids after West Ham at Liverpool Street, collectively still cunts, but some of them were alright. I haven't changed my mind you silly cunt, they still contain a lot of bigots with their support, but I prefer them to Celtic any day after what I've seen in the last 12 months, and I wouldn't mind if they won the quadruple. Well at fucking last you can make a distinction between individuals and a collective group.

Do you often do your drinking on tubes, buses and trams in the London vicinity?

3 Irishmen singing an Irish song, well I never...

Dunno if Norwich would pay £4m for him.

As amusing as a situation where two co-owners can't stand each other, court other managers and publicly try to force prominent figures out of the club? Nah, it's not that amusing.

Well the Daily Mail's backpage leads with "Keegan on the brink" and it's not like them to be sensationalist or anything.

Not Starting a Record shop & starting a guitar shop, Internet, then the world!

Aye but surely what anyone would/should do is go to a shop and try them out then see if they can get the same model cheaper on the net? -

Keane paid over the odds for very average players, something Keegan hopefully won't do. If you look at last year's summer spending Man U were the biggest spenders at around £50m, if Keegan gets that to spend then I'd be very happy with it and it would make a huge difference to us next season.

Gascoigne's tears trace the chronicle of tragedy foretold

I don't think Ferguson would definetly have put an end to his problems, Fergie was good at keeping young players in check but Paul McGrath is an example of where Fergie couldn't rein a player in and ended up shipping him out, though I agree Gazza would have had a much better chance of solving his problems under Red Nose than the Cockney barrow boy. Edit: Too fucking slow. That's 100% true, Gazza has been in and out of some of the best rehab joints in the world but ultimately only he can save himself and so far he hasn't had any success. -
Keegan claims that he hasn't been told how much he has got to spend and that he's discussing names rather than values. http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/nufc/newcas...72703-20867901/

Carr, Troisi and Geordie Boy Peter Ramage to leave

Love the Oliver headline, "Toon pair will leave the club", then announce that 3 players are going. -
Abramovich loves football. He's spent millions in Russia setting up academies and getting kids playing the game, he helped CSKA to winning the UEFA cup, he was instumental in getting Hiddink in for the Russian national team, and then there's what he's done at Chelsea. Ashley might be enjoying himself, but I think it's clear he has no interest in being so altruistic. It's just another gamble to Ashley if you ask me, far more of a plaything than Abramovich who loved the game long before coming to England. Ashley only worries that England didn't get into the Euro's because Umbro shirt sales won't get the normal summer boost. Glad to have him here, but I don't think the comparisons are entirely accurate. Of course Abramovich's love of the game brings it's own problems, he has a strong opinion on the footballing direction of his club so you get situations like the Shevchenko purchase and Grant's coup d'etat for example. Whilst I don't know whether or how much Abramovich loves the game, a lot of the work he has done in Russia has been because of political pressures on him. He simply couldn't be seen to be pumping millions into Chelsea while ignoring his homeland, he had to do something over there.

21 - Shite, book was better and even it was only average.

Well at least we still have a chance of finishing above Spurs... Provided they lose their next game and we beat Everton at least 25-0.

How convenient.
