I agree that there is probably blame on both sides but the fact that he's a bit pissed off doesn't mean he should be alienated, we had troublesome players with egos in Robert and Bellamy but Robson managed to keep them both happy and performing on the pitch. I have no faith in Roeder's ability to handle the situation as he has already shown that Duff will be picked ahead of N'Zogbia regardless of form which can only frustrate the situation further and didn't Roeder have a falling out with Di Canio in the season West Ham went down and freeze him out of the first team despite being desperately short on strikers?

I think the FIFA pot was only for the World Cup and capped at a certain level. FA's must start taking out insurance to cover the value and full wages of every player in their squad and should they not be able to afford this FIFA should make contributions to their insurance, it's only fair on the clubs who invest such huge amounts of money in their players.

That's the problem with what Freddy is asking for, sure the FA can afford it but other can't. Either FIFA or individual FA's are going to have to start taking out insurance to cover this sort of thing and rightly so.
