He had a bad game and unfortunately it was against Man U and we were made to pay, no need to crucify him.

Martin O'Neills run to the final of the UEFA Cup is no different to, in fact not as good as, David O'Learys to the semi Final of the Champions League, and so IMO ought to be left to stew in the "possible fluke" section ......... 105630 Well then why don't you take into account the amount of money O'Neill spent on his Celtic side then compare it to the sides he beat en route to the UEFA Cup final, then do the same with O'Leary and the sides he beat to get to the CL semifinal and tell me again that there is no difference between the two.

Is that a cross between a leprechaun and a unicorn? 105562 You tell me, Paddy! 105567 I'm not sure but it could explain O'Neill's penchant for virgins and screaming "der after me lucky charms!" at the top of his voice.

Melanchronic banned for calling someone a "fucking ignorant moron", bit harsh that.

Buy your son a black trench coat and a Marilyn Manson CD, he'll soon figure out what to do himself.

That can't be right surely? He's refused his pay-off, that can't mean he's allowed to walk for nothing if he gets tapped up? Citeh would have to be daft. 105147 From the BBC So in actual fact the contract is pretty worthless as neither side can enforce it if one party decides to terminate it.
-
It works both ways, he's a young ambitious manager and he knows that the fact no compensation would have to be paid should another club want him would work in his favour.
-
And you would've got away with it but for those pesky...

??? 104972 The link to the guest book gives it away somewhat.

For anyone who gives a fuck check out the aforementioned display of best punditry ever http://media.putfile.com/Dunphy You don't get Hansen going off on one like that.

"He's a gentleman. He's a class act. He's a rebel. And he stands up to bullies." Eamo from possibly the best display of punditry known to man.

Well then you need to get some treetment for your lack of humour.

Don't worry Alex, I'm sure this thread will be pruned soon.

Well budding Irish star Willow Flood reckons Woody is one of the top tree defenders in the world.

Owen - Small striker whos pace troubles defenders and benefits from Shearer's knockdowns Bellamy - Small striker whos pace troubles defenders and benefited from Shearer's knockdowns It's impossible to compare individual players because their games are not identical, certainly not possible in four words. Perhaps players are bought for their own attributes rather than as a direct replacement?

O'Neill is 100% Freddies choice. 103685 Without turning this into an O'Neill/rumour wankfest have you heard anything about an appointment recently?
-
But his source is Glasgow told him that O'Neill was ready to take over?

It proves how much a shitty chairman can fuck up a club and quickly, as you ask, rather than keep them on a good keel and hold the same ambitions... 103607 So Leeds' predicament has nothing to do with the poor signings O'Leary made when Ridsdale released the funds then? It's all down to the chairman is it? 103608 It had a lot to do with the ludicrous way the chairman financed O'Leary's signings, which were for a large part good signings, if overpriced but the manager doesn't decide the fee. 103620 Plus he bought them on all sorts of buy now, pay twice as much later type deals. Risdale was an apalling chairman, but I don't see how that is relevant to Shepherd's chairmanship. 103625 The comparison was made between FS and Risdale, I was simply saying that FS certainly comes out on top in that fight. Its been said 1000 times before but FS has done a good job on the financial side of things, which is becoming more apparent due to the fact we've no European football. As for the timings of appointments/dismissals I don't think anyone can realistically defend him there (apart from LM obviosuly.)

Exactly, Souness has lowered our expectations so much that any improvement would be seen as a miracle.
