  2. Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez has confirmed that Craig Bellamy has completed a move to West Ham. The Hammers are reported to have paid £8m for the Wales international on a four-year deal on £75,000 a week. Benitez also confirmed that they have made an offer to sign West Ham midfielder which had been turned down. "And any move for Benayoun to join us from West Ham will not be linked with the Bellamy sale. We have made an offer which has been rejected," Benitez said.
  3. Giuly rejects English offers Ludovic Giuly has revealed he has rejected offers to move to England and is considering staying at Barcelona next season. The French winger has been strongly linked with a move away from Camp Nou this summer with the club believed to be ready to let him depart. The likes of Tottenham and Newcastle have been linked with the 31-year-old while interest from Monaco and Marseille has cooled after learning of Barcelona's asking price for the midfielder. Giuly is in no rush to leave Barca and is ready to see out the final year of his contract . "I have decided to stay at Barcelona," Giuly told catalan tv3. "In the last days I have rejected offers from England and France. "My desire has not changed and I believe I am capable of doing something for this club (Barcelona). "Now I wait for official communication from the club and if I do not know anything in ten days I will return to work as normal with Barcelona.

  5. Spurs will are preparing to make a renewed bid for Barcelona wide-man Ludovic Giuly. Following the arrivals of Thierry Henry and Yaya Toure, there is little room for the 31-year-old Giuly, who was set to join Marseilles. However, sources at the Nou Camp say that the French club have lost interest as they seek a replacement for Franck Ribery, who has left to join Bayern Munich, and Giuly could be surplus to requirements. Spurs hope to lure the former France international with the promise of Uefa Cup football, but they could face competition from Newcastle United. Sam Allardyce is looking to bolster his strikeforce after losing out to West Ham in the race to sign Craig Bellamy from Liverpool.

  9. I've been quite impressed with Healy when I've seen him. Would certainly be good back-up at least. Hughes is pretty ordinary though imo. Problem is, he isn't good enough going forward when he plays full-back and isn't strong enough to play centre-half. Reads the game well when he plays in the middle though. First class attitude as well. Healy is a bit of a Lampard in reverse, he's great for his country but doesn't display the same form for his club as often, I know a few Leeds fans that can't wait to see the back of him and my Norwich friends said he looked terrible when he was on loan with them a couple of years back, he can clearly be a good player when he wants it but the question is, when does he want it ? Maybe Sanchez knows how to get the best out of him.

  13. Thanks for negotiating on my behalf, strictly speaking I was the seller, you were just the agent, didn't you think to offer a bung ? Well aware that you were the seller. I did offer a bong, but I thought the deal went through alright without the need for such underhand tactics. you're just too honest.
  14. Never wank within view of your own reflection although I sense this maybe a prerequisite for achieving an erection for some folk on this board.
  15. Can you narrow it down a bit please.

  20. Jorabchian says: "we confirm that Tevez has been in negotiations with other clubs with West Ham's permission, and personal terms have been agreed with Manchester United"
  21. "Carlos Tevez is a registered West Ham United player, contracted to the Club until June 2010. "There is no agreement with West Ham United for Carlos Tevez to leave the Club and we expect him to return in time for next season's preparations. "No decision on his future can be reached without the agreement of West Ham United."
  22. West Ham and Newcastle are set for a £3million tug-of-war over Canadian star Atiba Hutchinson. The FC Copenhagen midfielder played against Manchester United and scored against Celtic in last season's Champions League and could be the right man to help the Hammers survive after the expected departure of Carlos Tevez to Manchester United. The 24-year-old moved to Sweden to play for Osters IF in 2003 before moving to Helsingborgs and he joined the side from the Danish capital in 2006. The club won back-to-back titles in 2006 and 2007.
