  2. Why not just set "manage music and movies manually" ? thats what I do, it then sync's apps and contacts etc but leaves you to move music and movies by just dragging and dropping within iTunes, much easier in my opinion.
  3. Inglorious Basterds loved it, a bit too much typical Tarantino small-talk dialogue, and the majority of the movie is in French and German language but even so it is fanastic, and Hans Landa is a fantasic villan.
  4. The TomTom app is about £60 and if you and the mrs both use the same iTunes login you can both install it so it's buy one get one free !

  6. Birmingham City: Peter Lovenkrands set to rejoin Newcastle, not Birmingham City Sep 1 2009 Add a comment Recommend Peter Lovenkrands was today set to rejoin Newcastle United after they offered him a contract to head off Blues interest. The Danish winger trained with Blues at Wast Hills yesterday with a view to a deal, similar to the Stephen Carr scenario last season. However, Alex McLeish couldn’t provide any guarantees to his former Rangers attacker, who became a free agent after his release by Newcastle following their Premier League relegation. But Lovenkrands has now been given the security he craved by Newcastle and McLeish wasn’t in a position to match their offer. Lovenkrands wasn’t prepared to wait another five weeks or so for Carson Yeung and his group to take charge, when McLeish would have had the resources - and been able to judge form and fitness - to act decisively. He said: “Peter was a player we got to look at but because of our financial situation I couldn’t offer him a contract, we’re spent in terms of the budget. “But it was my intention to let him train with us for a few weeks. I think he’s a bit short of fitness. Then we would have seen what had happened. “Once the takeover had gone through successfully - or even if it hadn’t - Peter might have showed up so well that I could have persuaded the club to have taken him on. But he had an offer from Newcastle on the table.
  7. Fitness Front: Shola And Jonas Update By Paul Tully SHOLA Ameobi and Jonas Gutierrez face lengthy spells on the sidelines through injury. Argentinian international Jonas will be out for three weeks with a hamstring pull, while five-goal Ameobi has a "stress problem" to the bone of his foot and will be out even longer. United boss Chris Hughton said: "Jonas has a hamstring and will be out three weeks, while Shola will be out longer than that. "He has a stress problem to the bone and we will know in the next two days how long he will be out." Hughton admitted the loss of Jonas and Ameobi was a big blow, but delivered better news when he revealed that striker Andy Carroll (groin) will be fit in time for the trip to Cardiff on September 13th. Skipper Nicky Butt may also be fit again after an ankle injury. In the absence of the strikers, 18-year-old Nile Ranger has played as solo striker against Huddersfield and Leicester and Hughton said: "It's been quite a tough start for him. "What he has learned in this very short period of time is that h will be up against hardened Championship centre-halves. He has been able to do that, and the longer he does that, the more experience he gets."
  8. Hughton Hopeful Of Deadline-Day Signings By Paul Tully CHRIS Hughton has his sights set on "one or two" beat-the-deadline signings - and does not foresee any more of his players leaving. The Newcastle boss watched his team beat Leicester City 1-0 at St. James' Park to go two points clear at the top of the Coca-Cola Championship then revealed: "I'm hopeful that we will bring one or two in tomorrow. "And I'm even more confident that nobody in this present squad will be leaving." Danish international striker Peter Lovenkrands, a free agent and scorer of three goals in 12 games for United at the end of last season, could be brought back in, as Hughton admitted: "Peter is one that we have been very much interested in." United's thin squad - only teenager Nile Ranger played as a recognised striker against Nigel Pearson's Leicester - is a cause for concern and Hughton added: "It's a stretched squad - but most of the season so far we've been able to cope with it. "We certainly have good enough players, and it's only right that the young lads are given an opportunity because they've deserved that. "But we need, by five o'clock tomorrow, a squad that is good enough to complete the whole season."
