  1. I don't think so, the feature was suggesting that it had become a trend in interviews to piss off the English Journo's, both Barthez and Lippi speak fluent English, Lippi even invited questions in French but not English.
  2. SSN just did a feature on World Cup press conferences where the interviewee's have have demanded that questions are not given in English, I only caught the end of it but they showed Barthez and Lippi both giving English journalists the brush off by demanding no English language questions. Not sure if it was a bit of fun or if it was just making a point of English ingnorance to foreign language.

  5. Personally speaking, I'm quite happy Italy won on the night, I don't think there was anything in the game, Italy took the first half and France probably the second. It was a strange World Cup as there wasn't a team that stood out or looked like world beaters above all others. France struggled to even make the knock out stages and Italy looked inefective infront of goal for most of the competition, only their ability to defend so well allowed them to progress. All in all a disapointing world cup in my opinion, the so called best players in the world failed to shine and there were very very few memorable moments.
  6. Fucking idiot, one of the greatest players ever, in his last ever match, in the world cup final. What a fucking twonk.
  7. You beat me too it, ffs, a brummie reading poetry....

  11. Final move for Duscher Jul 9 2006 By The Sunday Sun Newcastle are weighing up making a final move for Argentinian midfielder Aldo Duscher. As revealed in last week's Sunday Sun, United have been offered the 27-year-old, pictured left, by Deportivo La Coruna. And I understand Eugenio Botas, the agent who brokered Albert Luque's move from Deportivo to Tyneside, has held detailed talks with United about Duscher in recent days. Although Manchester United and West Ham have expressed interest in him, Duscher has told friends he is sold on a move to Newcastle. And he is threatening to see out the remaining year of his contract at Deportivo and leave for nothing next summer if they demand too high a price for him now. Meanwhile, former United winger Laurent Robert is set to leave Benfica for either Spanish side Levante or Turkish outfit Besiktas.

  15. Campbell in surprise Arsenal exit Arsenal have announced that defender Sol Campbell is to leave the club so he can seek a "fresh challenge". Campbell, 31, made 197 appearances for the Gunners after joining the club from arch rivals Tottenham in 2001. "It is with a sense of pride, achievement and the desire for a fresh challenge that I depart," he said. Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger added: "Sol has been a giant for us but we respect his decision to move on and of course, we are very sorry to see him go." Since his controversial move across North London in 2001, Campbell has won five major trophies at Highbury. He was a member of England's World Cup squad, and despite signing a new three-year contract in 2005, he has recently been linked with moves away from the club. Turkish club Fenerbache were reportedly interested in signing the centre-back in May and Portsmouth were understood to be interested in taking him to Fratton Park. Campbell added: "Playing abroad is something that would really interest me but at the moment I am keeping all of my options open. The younger players have benefited hugely from playing alongside Sol Arsene Wenger "I would like to thank Arsene Wenger for everything he has done for me, the world class players that I have been privileged to play alongside and accomplish so much." The departure means that Campbell's last game for Arsenal was the Champions League final in which he scored the Gunners' goal in a 2-1 defeat. Campbell walked out of Highbury after being withdrawn by Wenger against West Ham in February and struggled with fitness and injuries leading up to the clash with Barcelona in May. Wenger attributed Campbell's early departure down to "exceptional circumstances" and said that he was going through a "difficult period" in his life. The Frenchman added: "His desire and presence have been instrumental to our success over the past five years. "Sol was at the heart of our defence and he will take away with him many fantastic memories, which he richly deserves. "Winning two Premiership titles, three FA Cups and scoring in the Champions League final against Barcelona will surely be highlights he will treasure. "I know that the younger players, who have progressed here over recent times, have benefited hugely from playing alongside Sol." Campbell made his 69th international cap in England's final group game against Sweden and featured in three World Cups and three European Championships.

A lad at work just got the K800i and it looks the testicals de chien as they say in paris. It takes a cracking photo.
  18. Both cracking on champ man. Bojinov has been somewhat inconsistent since his move from Lecce. Haven't seen enough of Pazzini to be able to comment. Albeit both are an improvement over Ameobi up front on his own. 157710[/snapback] I've seen a bit of Fiorentina this season, Pazzini has linked up well with Luca Toni when he's played, it seems Fiorentina can't decide where to play Bojinov, he's been playing up front and in an attacking midfield role and hasn't really settled in either position.
  19. Aye, its no secret how good those players are.
