Used to hate that tracing paper stuff that you used to get at Primary school in the 80's, it either stuck to your arse or slid up your back.

from some ITK on Skunkers: * Ashley has been at St James' once since season ended. * Lambias not been near for a fortnight * Shearer stormed out of meeting down south * The folks made redundant were all the management types * Nobody around to tell staff what to do, so standing around doing nothing * No excess money to be spent, so they are half way through replacing executive chairs and have had to stop (after ripping all old ones out) * The most senior member of staff there every day is a 27 year old accountant * Three players (Duff, Smith, Enrique) refusing to leave unless Newcastle guarentee they will pay the difference in loss in wages for the duration of current contract. They are in big fecking trouble, so much so apparently receivership could be as near as a fortnight.

Initially I had problems getting drivers but that was when Vista first came out, since then no problems at all, plus with 64bit you can run up to 8GB of ram instead of only 4 with a 32bit system.

Takeover progressing well, Llambias tells Shearer

The Daily Mail: Alan Shearer to land Newcastle job after being summoned to London for final Ashley talks Alan Shearer is on the verge of being installed as Newcastle manager on a permanent basis as he heads for crunch talks with owner Mike Ashley and managing director Derek Llambias on Thursday. Shearer has been waiting for news on the future of the troubled club, and has been in the dark over negotiations between several consortia, Ashley and former Football League chairman Keith Harris who has been given the remit to sell Newcastle. Alan Shearer Crunch talks: Shearer is set to be named Newcastle boss after talks in London He has been summoned to a meeting with the current Newcastle board in London and is hoping to get the green light to take over the managerial reigns permanently. Ashley and Llambias have said all along that they would only appoint Shearer if all prospective buyers backed that decision. The former England skipper is now hoping to be in charge when the squad return for pre-season training on Wednesday, and has plans to offload several highly-paid members of his squad before they embark on a July tour of Holland and Ireland. Meanwhile Stoke boss Tony Pulis has joined Hull counterpart Phil Brown by expressing his interest in signing Michael Owen, although he has admitted he did not receive the striker’s 32-page brochure. Pulis said: ‘He would be a great signing for this football club and he can rest assured our fans would treat him as one of their own.’ Brown, meanwhile, has been fined £2,500 for improper conduct following his attack on referee Mike Riley after his side’s FA Cup defeat at Arsenal in March. -

I've done it using Photoshop, and surprisingly it was fairly easy, Photoshop can be a scary program, but the Panoramic feature was fairly straight forward.

What do you mean ? like joining pictures to make panoramic pictures ??

Would you OBJECT If Kevin Keegan was brought back???
Jimbo replied to Florencita's topic in Newcastle Forum
Although I was delighted that he was brought back I had the gut feeling that it would end in tears, and it did, although I can't foot too much blame at Keegan for walking, but now I feel that it is time to move on, Keegan has a fantastic chapter in the history of this club but we've moved on from that page now, time for someone else to take the club forward. -
I took this pic of my dog earlier tonight.

Girl with 56 stars tattooed on face admits she asked for them A teenage girl who claimed 56 stars were tattooed on her on her face as she slept when she asked for three has admitted she was awake the whole time – and lied because her father was "furious". Kimberley Vlaminck had insisted she dozed off after asking the tattooist for just three small stars – then woke in horror to find her face was covered. The Belgian blamed the Flemish-speaking tattooist for not being able to understand her French and English instructions. Amid a frenzy of media attention, she then said she would sue the tattoo artist, Rouslan Toumaniantz, for the £9,000 she needed for laser surgery to have them removed. She said after the tattooing last week: "It is terrible for me. I cannot go out on to the street. I look like a freak." But the 18-year-old has finally confessed she did not fall asleep, that she wanted all the stars and was "fully aware" of what Mr Toumaniantz was doing. Ms Vlaminck told a Dutch TV crew: "I asked for 56 stars and initially adored them. But when my father saw them, he was furious. So I said I fell asleep and the that the tattooist made a mistake." Mr Toumaniantz – himself covered from head to foot in tattoos and piercings – had consistently denied he had made a mistake and always insisted Vlaminck wanted all 56 stars. He said at the time: "I maintain that she absolutely agreed that I tattoo those 56 stars on the left side of her face." But despite insisting she had asked for 56 stars, he still initially agreed to pay for half of the treatment to remove the tattoos. "Kimberley is unhappy and it is not my wish to have an unsatisfied client," he said. "I don't regret it. To tell you the truth, this has given me some publicity." Mr Toumanaintz is now said to have withdrawn his cash offer and said from now on he will get written consent from clients before he begins tattooing

Takeover progressing well, Llambias tells Shearer
Jimbo replied to smoggeordie's topic in Newcastle Forum
From .com: Big Wednesday Next Wednesday, July 1st, is being tipped as a pivotal date in the immediate future of Newcastle United, with firm news expected by then of the ongoing takeover. The players return for pre-season training that day and there's now cautious optimism that one bid from the reported four will have been accepted - and that Alan Shearer will be the winning bidders' preferred Manager. On that basis, it's reported that Shearer has spoken to various players linked with moves away from the club who had been previously declared as "wanted on voyage", asking them not abandon ship. Habib Beye and Steven Taylor have been mentioned as falling into this category, but judging by comments from the agent of Peter Lovenkrands, the out-of-contract Dane isn't a priority. Wednesday's Chronicle then claimed that club secretary Lee Charnley had travelled to London to liaise with the investment bank handling the sale. Shearer meanwhile is set to meet with club officials this week at a location tbc.
