I find myself swaying between "pseudo-sciences answer to horoscopes" and "there might be something in it". On the latter end, anything that helps people to introspect can't be bad, but on the former, it might just reinforce their beliefs about themselves. Like all those fucking tests on Facebook that people do to prove to themselves/others how awesome they are. Don't know.

My last "real" job (nearly 20 years ago at this point!) those couple of pints with lunch on a Friday would inevitably lead to not going back to the office. Sometimes alcoholic directors are a bonus.

6-ways makes it sound rather sexier than the reality. I mean psychological flaws, but I don't know how deeply revelatory they are. The main one is that I need my brain to be constantly engaged, and there is some underlying anxiety beyond the boredom. This is not in the least bit unusual, except that as someone who meditates at least half an hour a day, I thought I had it "beaten". So it's another opportunity to figure out wtf is wrong with me. Need a psychology thread tbh.

Oh yeah, I mean I'd literally kill myself if I didn't have a little risk in my day-to-day job. But it's a lot more boring than it used to be. I also had to switch from my preferred heads-up (1-on-1) games to 6 man tables which is like watching paint dry in comparison. It's made me evaluate some flaws in my character though, so that's always nice.
