Does the official stream constantly cut out for anyone else? Half a second every 5 seconds. Even when I was paying for it, I often ended up listening to the far superior pirate stream. I am unreasonably furious about this today.

I did read somewhere (Quora?) that someone who had met him said he was much more eloquent/intelligent a few years ago, and that he felt it looked like dementia. That could be the rhetoric that appeals to his base, I'm just not convinced any of them are that smart. Then again, their courting of the Alex Jones vote was pretty fucking smart.

I don't know, I think the commentator's argument here is pretty facetious. I don't necessarily see the hypocrisy in being a feminist and sitting down with these people. You're going to have to have a relationship with people you don't agree with (or even respect) to get along in politics. What's the alternative? Send them home/cut ties/expect an archaic institute like this to suddenly embrace the 21st century? These things take generations. He's clearly a politician, so fuck him, hang them all etc. But if he doesn't play the game he's just another Corbyn.

Refer back to @@ewerk's earlier post. I'm mystified that people don't get that cutting out 90% of these bad calls is far, far superior to cutting out 0% of them. I do (at least partially) get the argument of not wanting to tinker with something that, on the whole, works pretty well.
