Seems odd but I don't actually mind this in theory. Perch has been vastly better in midfield than in defence. Exciting going forward if we get it on the deck.

Good to see Delia Smith having a nice chat during the applause...

'Nufcfans' and 'nufcstats' came up with that idea but I'm not convinced at all. Apparently Sky Sports were showing Cabaye on the right as well. I think we might be playing a 4-3-3 but if not, it'll be Perchy LB, Jonas LM and Guthrie and Cabaye in the middle Ah ok didn't realise Sky were saying it. Still think itll be the 442 you mention though.

Where are you getting that? Cant see it from anyone I follow. Would surely be madness

I'd have thought so. He played LB for the second half last week.

Don't know why people are arguing with this guy who has admitted he knows nothing about football.

Enjoyed that one.

Somebody pinch me... this surely cannot be tactical?!

Not a bad summary.

Not a bad half. Could be even better if we'd bought a centre back.

I think we look so much better when we look to get it out wide from the back. I actually thought the thing that changed the game at the weekend was the fact that we started getting the ball to our wingers rather than bypassing them, admittedly this was made easier by their incredibly negative tactics and the sending off of sessegnon but nonetheless Jonas and HBA were key in us looking much better.

Alan Pardew - Poltroon sacked by a forrin team
RobH replied to Kid Dynamite's topic in Newcastle Forum
Tom, you know I only follow Newcastle and have no idea who the current best wingers are out there. But Im talking people who can do the following things. Receive the ball and distribute towards the penalty area first time for a forward to run on to. Receive the ball and cross it first time for a forward to attack. Receive a ball and race forward getting a cross into a dangerous area for a forward to attack. Receive the ball and dribble goal wards before shooting or sliding in an inch perfect ball for a forward to tap in. I dont know why anybody argues this point with me as these are the weak areas of our team. The closest we seem to have to this is Marveaux (injured and unproven yet) or Ben Arfa (needs to play for the rest of the season and either do or die). Obertan is so far still a headless chicken, Taylor is just shite and Jonas while a grafter struggles to do any of the above. This team with Ginola on the left and Nobby on the right would be awesome. If, as you say, you don't know much about football in general, dont you think it would be best to not comment on tactical issues which it's clear you know jack shit about. I mean how often do you see someone cross the ball first time successfully? You're also forgetting that a wingers job is a lot more than just creating chances, especially in our traditional 4-4-2.- 10610 replies

I've always thought fifa street should be 15 quid DLC for the full FIFA game. I'm just about bored of fifa by this time of year.
