Regarding St James' being a Direct Spots advertising hoarding: This is one of the main bugbears for me. If it were a multi-national company ploughing serious dough into the club I may be able to overcome my anger at it, but, at present, it's all for a nominal sum so the fat bloke can treat the ground like a market stall ie. cheap tacky posters everywhere. Due to the increased evidence of his tacky company being more and more 'in shot' and blatantly in the face of tv companies, I wonder if they [the tv companies] ever consider staying away from SJP, purely down to the fat bloke's shameless advertising? If a bloke buys a garage for £50k and he then makes a £5k profit every year - as well as paying himself a salary - he eventually gets all his money back. What's wrong with that? His best season was on 08/09 with Toulouse (38 games 24 goals) but after that he had lot of injuries and did two poor seasons. 8 goals in 30 with Toulouse 09/10 and 8 goals in 31 with Marseille 10/11 (+ 1 goal in League Cup and hat-trick in CL). Last season every medias talked about his weight problem, the source of the injuries and this summer coach Didier Deschamps sent him in Merano for a "detox" (like Benzema). Gignac is not a bad player but he live an hard period of his career. He is strong and have a powerful shot. When it is in the shape he is rather fast and good scorer.
