  1. The RFU should just put a casual request (without spending any dosh on it) in every time it's up for decision, as it's only a matter of time before it has to come to England - such are the limited numbers of alternatives. imo.
  2. John 'Motty' Motson is a Spurs fan iirc. Nuff said.
  3. Is this for the football course????? Remember your boots. I'm assuming you would need them???? Let us know what a football course interview consists of, please. Oh, and good luck.
  4. Good player, but his demands would be waaaaay too much. Adios, Marko.
  5. Really enjoyed that Two kids who must wake up every morning and wonder how on earth they are where they are. I don't watch their satdee show or the jungle shite, but I think those two lads are top drawer. They're riding a crest of a wave and good luck to them for as long as it lasts.
  6. That's one of the best youtubes I've ever seen. Galloway taken to the fuckin' cleaners, lock, stock and fuckin' barrel. Galloway thought he was gonna shred the Dispatches guy, yet got absolutely slaughtered.

    Gambling

I stick a quid on for the National, and that's it. Last of the big spenders The whole betting thing does excite me - and I genuinely hope all your bets come in - but I don't really understand all the betting odds/jargon and I cannit be bothered to try to learn. I'll add one thing: If my dad was a betting man he would have made a fortune over the years. He studies the form and is always accurately predicting which horses will win/finish in the first three. Well, it appears that way!
  8. Read somewhere here today a comment/chant at the smog fans last night: You've got Joseph Fritzel (sp) as a celebrity supporter. A lad on the metro going home came out with a good one: " At least we've got Dowie. He's like a fuckin' totem pole on the sideline and the opposition are scared stiff of him." :panic:
  9. NSFW. Howay man, fop, it's getting a bit tedious now.
  10. Throwing their toys out of the pram because they can't spend the money they want to under the proposed new regs.
  11. They're seven points behind, with only two game to play so they can't get into yoorup. (unless the beeb table, which I looked at prior to my post, is wrong??). *goes to have another look* But (I assume) another place goes to the league for the Uefa Cup (Uefa League or whatever it is) since Chelsea and Everton are in the cup final. Aha - that's summat I hadn't thought about!! Shite. Still, they (Hodgson) don't want european football, so they wont be trying
  12. They're seven points behind, with only two game to play so they can't get into yoorup. (unless the beeb table, which I looked at prior to my post, is wrong??). *goes to have another look* EDIT: Aye, 7 behind. Unless there's summat I'm missing eg qualification via the insipid, uninspiring, none-entity club award.
  13. Fulham are a completely different kettle of fish than the smogs - far more organised. Last night was like two schoolboy sides going hell-for-leather for the win. Fulham have nowt to play for anymore so wont be as rabid as the smogs were. Last night scared the hell out of me at times at the speed with which the smogs attacked en masse, but thinking about it, that was probably down to the fact they are such a young, energetic side. I can only think of two Fulham players off the top of me heed - Andy Johnstone (sp) and Schwartzer (sp); the former worries me a heck of a lot. I see Saturday being far less frenetic than last night, but if we do get about Fulham and let them know how much this means to us we can win.
  14. For me, Owen tried his damnest for the team last night. Unfortunately his pace has virtually gone making him a bit of a busted flush, but he was trying 100% for us imo.
  15. Looking at Martins' goal, it's obvious he slips prior to hitting the ball. Therefore, those who call him shite are still vindicated as he would have probably put it wide otherwise The slip reminds me a bit like Andy Cole's goal at Boundary Park all those years ago.
  16. Felt a bit sorry for him. I feel more sorry for Gibson.
  17. If someone could just harness the talent Jonas has, into team play, he will be a great player. However, until that happens he will remain an enigma.
  18. I thought Beye was magnificent tonight. Up and down that flank like nobody's business. The number of times he is the main threat going forward on our right hand side is a credit to him (and a worry that someone from our midfield isn't). I had him a close second to Viduka as motm. Two poor teams tonight, but winning 3-1 has hidden a lot of the problems we have. However, we won, the atmosphere was fantastic and, once again, I have lost me voice. Du du du du - du du du du Take that, you pig bag pig fuckers:D
  19. His hair trailing even further behind. It's a hard knock life, for him. It's a hard knock life, for him.
  20. Not today!! It's a beautiful day today.
  21. 3 - 1 to us. There will be the inevitable thuggish 'tackles' going in on our players by their shaven-headed neanderthals, so I hope the ref gives them the necessary treatment. The last thing we need is a weak ref who wont punish their usual fouling.
  22. I'd love to see someone bring a private prosecution against an MP for fraud. Not sure if that would be possible, though, what with parliamentary privilege and all that shte.
