  1. Sorry, was watching a documentary on how some middle class folk cheat and steal their way to more money.
  2. I'll mange mon chapeau if we end up with 35, never mind 41!!
  3. Class. Where's your Kaka gone (where's your Kaka gone). Far, far awaaaaaay. As the song goes.
  4. One doesn't want to sit awkwardly
  5. He's no Neil Kinnock. Bored to tears in the hip's house. At least he had the decency to finish before Come Dine With Me
  6. You misunderstand me. I'm all for learning, whatever their background. But when certain people are 'encouraged' to stay at school by payments, surely there must be a few who are going to be there for the wrong reasons. If they are there for the wrong reasons, surely they will be less inclined to want to learn thus the possibility exists of disruption in a classroom - the very thing Kid D (Sunny D ) was referring to?
  7. Ah knaa that ye knaa, but ah divvent knaa As the saying goes. *slithers away from this thread 4 eva*
  8. Something similar to when my daughter stayed on to do her A Levels. I was happy that all the tossers who weren't interested in learning had left, only to discover that the government were paying some kids to stay on at school!!!!! I'm not saying that all those who were being paid to stay on were layabouts, but surely they can't all have been that inclined to want to learn?
  9. its absolutely inevitable we will be relegated eventually with the present setup as it stands. It was always the case in the 60's, 70's and 80's too. Disgraceful. I honestly thought I would never see this club in such a state again, but now it is. Coming soon to a tv near you: FULL CIRCLE, with Michael Palin. Palin retraces the steps of NUFC from shitty provincial club in '93, through it's rise to competing in the Champions League, ultimately ending back where they started.
  10. I don't want to post about somebody else's laundry, just comment that the lad's face in your av is just class <_<
  11. <_< I guess this means I'm lining Ashley's pockets again, but I couldn't miss this one - even if I do expect us being turned over.
  12. I suppose that means they'll be coming for Guthrie now?
  13. Yeah, it's me giving soccermom one from behind. Please don't let us interrupt the animosities. That is all.
  14. Looks like that fuckin' Welsh gargoyle will be playing for them anarl. Great. Just great.
  15. It's going to be interesting. Win, and it gets Ashley and co off the hook for a little bit. Lose, and all hell will be released - especially if no-one has been signed.
  16. There's some people who sit near me at the match who've been going longer than I've been alive and they're clueless as well. I think that while he is not to blame for the situation at the club he is quite clearly nowhere near the quality of manager we should be trying to attract and now he's been offered a new deal. That's where the anger comes from. His four years out of the game speaks volumes (something else he's felt the need to lie about btw). Kinnear's comments about 'expensive' loan signings, a 'lucrative' contract offer (I bet it's only 25 - 30 k a week) and him thinking the money bid for M'bia was a good bid just show how out of touch he is with the modern game.
  17. There are three things that make this untrue: Given, Owen and N'zogbia. If Ashley didn't give a fuck those three would have been sold already, putting £15m+ into his back pocket. Ashley wants this club to keep in the Prem so it can pay back the money he loaned it to pay the debts off - I'm convinced that is the truth. The trouble is, any money spent on team strengthening is less money paying him back. Ashley doesn't know whether to stick or twist on player acquisition.
  18. I guess it wont change anything, but I will send 5 'ACT NOW' letters in tomorrow's post.
  19. I can fully understand the sentiment, as the vast majority of right-thinking supporters share the same fears about relegation. However, surely it would have had more response and actions if a simple PLEASE ACT NOW! e-mail, fax or letter was sent? I applaud your attempt though at trying to get the guy to do something before it's too late.
  20. 'Redknapp sees the experienced Harper as the ideal man to cover for Heurelho Gomes.' Oh yeah, after years of being number 2 at Newcastle, Harper is desperate to go to Spurs to do just the same. Utter bullshit.
  21. Oh yeah Joe great idea, one player when what we need is 6. You total and utter lying fucking useless arsewipe of an excuse for a human being. Grow some fucking bollocks and get Wise told once and for all that you need a lot of new players. I'd like him to grow some bollocks and tell Ashley to fuck off, whilst he leaves NUFC like an honourable man.
  22. Yeah, ready to up the bid to £5.5m !!
