I thought, rightly or wrongly, that this was just going to be someone who has decided that religion 'IS the route of all evils and will prove it'. That is the reason I didn't watch it. And, contrary to popular belief, I do have enough intelligence to form my own opinion on a subject. EDIT: and I can say in all truthfulness that I have not watched one minute of this Big Brother stuff.

I was tempted to watch it but didn't as I think a lot of these type of documentaries are quite biased in favour of the maker's point of view eg how a LM documentary about Souness would look like. ...to the Baltic. Went this afternoon with mrs and miss hips and the art on display is truly mesmerising. The best exhibit was, and I don't lie, a half-burnt matchstick. Yes, a half-burnt fuckin' matchstick hanging over the edge of a formica shelf. Nowt else!! Shite. Christ, I'm getting old.

It will be interesting (for once) to see what Anal Oliver comes out with tonight in the Chron. If he goes with this story then it would appear that there is some substance in it. However, surely Portly Freddie must have to make some sort of comment on the situation? I know it will be along the lines of 'blah blah, Souness is still the manager etc etc' but it is (as is often the case with FS) what can be read between the lines that will be the interesting bit. Looking at all the posts, it seems evident that Souness has lost the backing of those that supported him and those that were prepared to give him more time. I would guess that 90-odd% want to see the back of him.
