"Best I've seen us play". Sums the season up really, they were fucking woeful second half. Could have easily lost the game against the worst team in the league. Pretty much nailed on they wouldn't win yesterday, they rarely do against the teams around us in the table.

I cannot believe he's starting Cisse again. Surely the result at Spurs showed him we were more of a threat with Perez and Mitro on the pitch. Cisse is fucking terrible man, what is McClaren thinking?

ITV ran one of those Dispatch programs on UBER tonight. I wouldn't lower myself and get in a black cab mate. They also pulled them up on the corporate tax they pay, it should be the government that is being questioned on a law change. The government allow this to happen, no laws are being broken. It would upset too many of their friends in the city so nothing will change on that score.

Had to laugh at the cabbie in Manchester complaining about Uber drivers "Swarming" around hotspots. This is exactly what they've been doing for over 20 years!

Saved the day yesterday afternoon amidst the proverbial chaos that ensued after the blizzards. Taxi firms were in meltdown, roads were gridlocked. I set the Uber app off searching for a driver, within a minute I had one on the way. We manoeuvred our way through Gateshead and got to the destination safely. Job done. Meanwhile all other Taxi firms were ignoring their phones and scratching their heads wondering what the fuck is happening.

They were poor in the first half but played a lot more positive second half and looked dangerous on the break. Mitro contributed more in the first 5 minutes of coming on than Cisse has done all season. The feeling of an injury time winner is absolutely priceless ! I'd start Perez and Mitro against Villa.

Probably the easiest game their keeper will have all season.

I'm not excusing arguments with coaching staff or proclaiming to know what went on, but to be fair to Townsend he had just broke into the England squad. As a young player surely all he wants to do is play and he found himself frozen out. It's natural for him to be frustrated. There's definitely a player there. I agree we should be making the defence a priority, but we have been crying out for a good winger with good service for a long time now, he'd be good foil for Mitrovic. At the minute there is little to no good service into the box.

Rumours flying around that Adel Tarrabt and Andros Townsend will be on there way here. I'd stay away from Tarrabt, he's exactly what we don't need. Townsend is the sort of winger that we need, although he's had a bad run of form and injuries. He does have potential though and is still quite young.

Football is a funny old game where clubs can be a victim of their own success, a good run of form and some excellent football can raise expectations and set the standard by which fans want that as a minimum. I think that is highlighted perfectly at Swansea. A few years ago they would have been delighted just to be in the Premier League, but after finishing in the top half and qualifying for Europe fans expect to maintain this and want a top performing side week in, week out. This increases the pressure on the manager and squad and sadly for Monk they've had a bad run since August.

Watching the CL tonight, Arsenal have been excellent.
