  1. Mackems recycling other clubs humour? Well I never... Tbf you recycled the Spurs jokes when you beat us.
  2. Soon afterwards, Elmander went down under an off-the-ball incident with Mike Williamson but the Newcastle player received no punishment. Referee missed it apparently.
  3. Who do you have next? Williamson will surely get banned by the F.A and Colo is out suspended.
  4. Shame to see Hartlepool robbed in the last minute.
  5. I'd rather play Viduka and he's retired and doesn't even play for us and lives in another country and is fat.
  6. I think Bentner (sp) is a better player than Chamakh. The amount of sitters Chamakh misses is unreal, he missed a complete tap in today as well. Can see Arsenal possibly sniffing around Gordon this summer/January as well as he's only 6 month left on his contract come January I think. They need a keeper so badly. Gordon is twice the keeper than anyone Arsenal have on their books. Tbf so am I.
  7. I think you putting us in at 3rd is far more optimistic! That list is in no order as well btw.

  9. Then takes off Tevez for Barry. Tactical genius!
  10. True, they haven't found replacements for them yet which must be worrying. Anderson has just been a massive flop from day one.
  11. They looks toothless without Rooney and Ronaldo.
  12. The gap between the top 4 and the rest of the league is getting smaller and smaller. I think it's just the attitude of the teams going to Stamford Bridge, Old Trafford etc. now, teams are going there looking for all 3 points rather than a draw and the top teams are struggling. We went there today and attacked from the off, Chelsea weren't given a second on the ball and in the end paid the price. Wolves did the same at Old Trafford last week too and were unlucky to not take a point. Inter 0-1 AC btw, Ibrahimovic penalty.
  13. Anyway, Inter vs AC is on now on ESPN. Should be a decent game.
  14. Definitely, the biggest kick up the arse we've ever had. It was a huge reality check and thankfully we've learnt our lesson. A blessing in disguise I guess (although it was the most painful blessing ever!).
  15. Arsenal Chelsea United Villa Everton Spurs Liverpool City ------ 9th is way, way too optimistic IMO. You'd have to finish just behind them, and lets face it, that's not going to happen.
  16. Spurs away on Tuesday night, we took 1800. Chelsea on the Sunday, we took 400. Ticket price at Spurs, £30 odd quid, ticket price at Chelsea, £49. It's about time we all started to take a stand against ridiculous ticket prices. £50 to watch a game of football is disgraceful. The 400 there today actually made a decent noise considering there was so few of them there. And shock results? Hardly! We've been annihilated in the last 9 times we've played them.
  17. True, but unless he's willing to take a massive wage cut no-one will take him on.
  18. Not sure why Man City would loan him out without the other team paying his wages (or at least a % of them), especially to a team that can't afford to buy him at the end of the loan. I wouldn't have him at SAFC tbh, most overrated player going.
  19. We could have had at least 6 tbf, was great to see us attack them. Makes a change compared to the normal absolute thrashings we take down there, 7-2, 5-0 etc.
  20. Tehehehe, best I've seen us play, probably ever.

    Fifa 11

£35 here Ultimate Team is brilliant, chuffed it's free this year. Aye seen your NO post. Going to get that downloaded and play at the weekend. Did you get free Gold packs for buying it in previous years? You do. First time I've played UT like, my team is utter shit.
  22. They'd probably be perfect for each other. Shame Carroll is such a cock off the pitch, he really is thick as mince.
  23. Was given 45 minutes (iirc) against Brazil, with an England B side out. He's never been given a proper chance to prove it at international level. Came on for 20 minutes or something against Switzerland and scored with a great finish. For some reason he isn't deemed good enough for England because "all he does is score goals". A player than can score 24 goals for an average Sunderland side in the Premier League (scoring against all 'top 4' clubs) can definitely make the step up to the international stage, it's not like we're playing a different sport in domestic football compared to international. Capello only watched him once or twice too. We're the only country in the world that would even consider leaving such a proven goalscorer completely out of the squad (and especially the World Cup squad). Mad, I feel for Darren, he's clearly a good lad and deserved his call up more than anyone else on that plane. Anyway, lets see how Carroll does (provided he starts) against France. If he's given the right service he'll tear them apart in the air. When is the game anyway? I haven't paid much attention to it tbh.
