Fully deserved because we played very well and defended/battled brilliantly whenever needed and took our chance when it came, to Wenger its not deserved because they had more chances and hit the bar twice, though he did say we played well and was more hinting they deserved a draw. But football's about taking the chance when it comes and we did! Fair play, and Wenger will moan about absolutely anything. Prick of the highest order. Just noticed I put 'morning afternoon'. The quartet will represent the areas of Sunderland, Tyneside, Teesside and East Anglia respectively on behalf of the Foundation, which was set up by the late Sir Bobby before his death from cancer in July 2009 at the age of 76. Try telling all this to a Sunderland fan who is absolutely convinced that Bruce is just a fat mag bastard. Once you're involved in football from a young age it's pretty much impossible to support any team. You're too busy playing games and training with another club to follow anyone else. The derby on Sunday was Bruce's first one he's ever watched I think (and the worst one he'll ever see). I know that if I stopped following Sunderland for 40 year I wouldn't feel the same about them again.

I think you should just be looking at surviving this season, then establishing yourself as a midtable side, before even considering top 10! We're only just cracking onto that now and we've been up for 4 seasons. It's a lot harder than it seems.
