The Little Comets gig was class, really enjoyed it, seen them about 3/4 times now and they really are a quality live band. They did the 4 men 1 guitar thing as well. Frankie & The Heartstrings play in Darlo on Friday 25th March, £4! Tickets here.

They'll get knocked out straight away. Fair play to them though, I wanted them to win today, can't stand Wenger.
-
Well it can't go to 7th now. Only 5th is a guaranteed European place.
-
...was my first thought too.

Had LIFEGOESON stuck in my head for ages now.

What did you study/are you studying at College/University?
JamesD replied to WordPlay's topic in General Chat
Built Environment Diploma, studying to become a building control officer or something along those lines. -
Well that Liverpool game was utter shit.
-
Played a few games since the update, almost everyone has picked Bayern Munich. :S Hammered them 4-1 in one game with Gyan getting all 4, then played the laggiest game ever against Blackpool and managed to get beat 3-1, he was shit anarl.

My mate was charged £80 for being drunk and disorderly. You should just get away with being charged for 'fraternising with the enemy', James. Cheers lads. We are being charged the same, a £9 rise in ticket price from last season, robbing bastards, as if they need the money. Checked ours aswell, £38 or £36 lower The sooner a ticket price cap is brought into football the better. Fans are already being priced out of the game and it's only getting worse. When you look at the amount a club brings in from tickets compared to the amount they shell out on wages, it's a drop in the ocean. Say, adults capped at £25, and U22's at £20, U16's at £15, concession & U12's at £10. That'd see a big rise crowds in the Premier League and the clubs would lose nothing at all in the grand scheme of things. £50 for a ticket is a disgrace really, it's no longer the peoples game. Don't even get me started on the Champions League final ticket prices.

West Ham Wigan Wolves Can't stand WHU, would love them to go down, we have them on the last day as well, would be sweet to send them packing.
-
Frogs, absolutely hate them, they make my skin crawl.
-
Bit of a random question, how much were you lot charged at Man City this year?
-
Apart from the fact they're from Sunderland/Easington, they are nothing alike. Completely different sound.

We're canny good on it now. Good to see Welbeck have his stats boosted as well.

Anyone heard the debut Frankie & The Heartstrings album. Very good.

"Sunderland's a shithole, I want to go home"
JamesD replied to Anorthernsoul's topic in Newcastle Forum
I think 99% of Sunderland fans would admit that Newcastle has a much better city centre than Sunderland, there's no debating it. Players don't have to live there though do they, wonder how many players actually live in the city/town they play for? Anyway, doesn't make the song anymore original! -

It has been sung from the beginning of time. -
Niall Quinn Whining about his shit fans again

Sessegnon is not a striker, he's a winger that is replacing no one as we don't have one. Muntari is a superb footballer, his record speaks for itself. Yes he'll pick up yellows here and there but that's part of the package, as you know with Tiote. Quinn took a huge pay cut, granted. Can't comment on that though as I know nothing about it. But like I said, the full thing has been blown miles out of proportion, made into a ridiculous episode by shit papers like Metro & The Sun spouting way off the mark bollocks without any quotes or evidence. -

Wow, there are so many holes in that post it's unreal. Sessegnon a bargain replacement for Bent? Muntari unreliable? Quinn on £1m PA? Short close to walking? And any club that's owner pulled with immediate effect would have to go into administration. A tiny tiny problem blown miles out of proportion. -
Wengers coat is embarrassing shit, it's just a sleeping bag.

You've got an average of 39k this season 35k in all competitions. I know I'd be gutted if our crowds dropped to that, even in the championship our average was over 43k. The Liverpool game has already sold 40k tickets with 3 weeks to go, our average this season will be ~40-41k. And the Mackem vs Geordie/City vs city thing that's happened in this thread is a bit childish.
