  1. I love El Hamdaoui! I know its only the Dutch league and anyone can seem to bag shit loads there but everytime I see him for Ajax i'm impressed, I remember him scoring an outside the foot goal against Groningen (I think it was them anyway) at the start of last season!
  2. Reminds me of Michael Vick. American Football player who was in jail for a year or two, comes back and basically should have won the MVP award... doesnt get it purely based on past activities. If Barton's paid his time in jail and has calmed down shouldn't we forgive and forget? Because there's no reason he shouldn't be in the England squad based on aggression, cards etc, and tbh I may be biased but i'd pick him over Lampard any day for England.
  3. Started writing a novel meself done 1000 words... trying to get into writing childrens stories, but just writing fer a laugh at the minute... the amount of people on here that are writing I think it's becoming an everyday thing
  4. I agree of most of what you're saying, but age should play absolute no account in anyones opinions/views on anyone here anyway (other than banter ofcourse). Some of the older ones on here are the most immature and I thought you were older than 29 I do admit . Anyway, i'll always support the team, regardless of my opinions of the owners. I hate Ashley as much as anyone, but lads like Cabaye want to come to this club and seem excited to pull on that black and white shirt, I think we should support them all the way, and not going to games etc is only going to make the situation worse, when it's not the players fault. Protest the fat cockney bastard and whatever, but i'm still going to go to games (oot so i'm no superfan by any stretch of the imagination), watch streams online, watch every game of tv and support everything the players do in the new shirt I bought (from JJB... that was my way of being a rebel ) Hate to break it to ya lad, Ashley owns over 20% of jjb :/ I'm an 80% rebel then, fuck you establishment.

  6. I agree, i'm excited to see the new side, and I don't think its too much worse than last season, but i'm still pissed off with Ashley, I thought i'd be saying "Wow, this side is so much better than last years i'm so excited to push for Europe!" ( I don't expect it usually but with the money that got pissed on training facilities you can't blame me!). Anyway, on purely football matters, I think Krul will start and we'll see a great season from him imo, and Captain Collo could change the defence completely if he proves to be a good captain, if we get a new lb that's good then maybe our defence won't be much worse than last year. Up front i'm happy to see Ba but still, we need another striker. Buy a new striker and i'll be bouncing off the walls waiting for Arsenal, i'm always excited for the new season though, so let's be deluded and pretend everythings perfect and we'll see top 10 finishes with our squad
  7. I liked Mort, you can tell he took the supporters opinion on board, it wouldn't totally sway him, but he saw that it mattered... but Llambias is a cunt who when Ashley says "Jump" answers "How high?".
  8. Danke everyone! Was a pretty decent night... was a cunt to my girlfriend for no apparent reason due to being too drunk but somehow she didn't hold it against me and i got thtough the night in one piece
  9. Thank you , feel older already... fucking mortgages and insurance. Not done ought yet mind, gonna wait till tonight to sample the best NE Lincs has to offer
  10. And what would you have done otherwise? Said nothing? Congratulated him on being an average manager? Bin off kicking the fuck out of him, one swift headbutt to the nose will do the job, and teach the fucker to stand up for himself. i bet u havnt got a good headbutt in ya..............soft shit I definitely haven't... but i'm not the one doing it am I!

  12. Just wait till August 31st boys! Well someone had to say it
  13. Do you know how hard it is to bulk up when you have to eat fish all the time!? Plus the pollution from the Humber doesn't help, just can't win
  14. Biggest understatement since I asserted the possibility of Paul Wyn being a wrongun. 8.5/10. Anyway 33 and 36 we're too old to be looking at 18 year old lasses! Australian 18 year old lasses with tits that would probably bring democracy to Cuba too!
  15. Do they do tours of this training ground? It best be fucking gold plated with Ameobi looking like 50 Cent in "In Da Club"'s music video.
  16. I did a bmi and i'm just healthy , don't get me paranoid. Plus i'm only 17/18 and I haven't grown fully enough yet for my metabolism to kick my arse.
  17. So 5'8", 8st 12lb in proper money?? Christ I'm 3 inches taller than you and 4st 8lb heavier than you! I thought it was 5"7 but i'm totally shit with imperial (even though noone else I know uses metric, i'm probably just being a wanker). I don't look unhealthy like so Cleethorpes doesn't need food parcels sent by toontastic
  18. 56 kilos? Fucking hell mate, get yourself a pie habit. I eat more than most people I know, no idea what happened, I think its more like 60 now though, was a few months ago when I was more active and walked to college (1 hour each way) nearly every day.
  19. 173 cm, 56 kg... translates into being a complete skinny faggot.
  20. Best giggle ever! I'm guessing you're on about my giggling in the background rather than you having a giggle at the clip? Aye, sounds a bit daft but I was flabbaghasted at him doing it - first time I've seen it. Being showing off at school apparently. The lass running this sports club we were at today was seriously impressed. Said she'd never seen anything like it! I giggled at your giggle, was brilliant. Unbelievable tekkers there mind, if theres a way to turn it into football talent you've hit a goldmine
  21. Bit depressed at losing my childhood . An old bastard now like the rest of ya . Bloody kids!
  22. Fair enough! I don't dislike him like I dislike Alonso or Schumacher. He seems a good lad, but over the years I've always followed McLaren......and it's a bonus for me that they have two English drivers atm! Plus as a Senna fan...Lewis is without doubt the nearest we have ever had to him. Not a chance Bev. I'm afraid to say his biggest adversary is the nearest we've ever had to Senna. In a class of his own is Alonso IMHO. Senna's true class showed when he was able to wring the bollocks out of a car that was absolute dogshit. The 93 McLaren was by far the best example. Should never have finished on the podium that thing, let alone achieve 5 wins. The only time I've ever seen anything like it since was with Alonso in the 2008 Renault. Yes he was given a massive helping hand by 'crash-gate' but he still walked it despite having a vastly inferior car. He also won next time out in Japan IIRC. And for that matter I don't reckon the 2010 Ferrari was all that either yet he very nearly bagged the title. Lewis in a shit car is, sadly, distinctly average. Look at the first half of 2009 for proof. Lewis reminds me more of a younger version of Jean Alesi only Hamilton has generally had the better rub of the green with the cars at his disposal. I can understand how he riles some people - particularly those partizan to McLaren and in particular Hamilton. But you cannot deny his talent. The only trouble comparing Alonso to Senna is that the latter was respected by his peers; the former clearly is not. Absolute nonsense! If anything it was the other way around - most on the grid during Senna's years (particularly 86-90) considered him to be somewhat of a maverick. Later than that as well actually - I clearly remember Senna taking Mansell off at the last corner at Adelaide at the end of the '92 season and Nigel going ballistic. Chea but everyone knows mavericks get the job done! Wasn't born for Senna's years but i've seen the film and heard a lot, sounds like a brilliant driver. Not a fan of Alonso though, then again I don't think theres a driver around at the minute more talented than Vettel. That, my friend is your undoing. I have nothing but superlatives to say about Senna. I watched him for all but 2 years of his F1 career and in terms of raw passion and belief, there truly has never been anyone like him before or since. That is what sets him apart from all the rest IMO. However, any of the others on here who witnessed him when he was alive should, without dis-respecting him, agree that he was far from faultless and wasn't necessarily that admired amongst his peers with the exception I'd say of the last 18 months of his life. The way that since his death, many parts of the media have almost attempted to beautify him is ridiculous to say the least. At the time, I was never a 'fan' but definitely an 'admirer'. Mansell was my driver and nothing gave me greater pleasure than watching him win race after race. Only some cocky Brazilian in a yellow helmet kept getting in the way. I cheered when Senna ran out of fuel at Silverstone in '91 and I'm happy to admit that. I was ecstatic 12 months later when the same thing happened and screamed at the TV telling Mansell to 'not dare pick him up again!'. But that's not to say I wasn't full of admiration for the bloke and genuinely felt a sense of loss and grief when he hit the wall in 1994. The sport was robbed - WE the fans were robbed. He was the best of his generation and arguably the best there'd ever been but we'd never see him again. Not least that, we'd never listen to his well thought opinions on the sport we all loved. Alonso is the same IMO - I admire him, i'm not particularly a fan of him but he has the potential to be as great as Senna. As for talent at present, I think there's 3 current 'world class' drivers on the grid. Vettel, Hamilton and Alonso. Schumacher isn't up there any more but still isn't far off. Neither is Button, Webber & Kubica for that matter. Then you're looking at the likes of Rosberg, Massa & Di Resta. Of those 3 at the front if you put them in identical machinery, I'm fairly certain Alonso would beat the other two. Hamilton matched him in 2007 in an equal car, yes but I think Alonso has learned so much more since then by going back to Renault and then on to Ferrari. Vettel to me is still a bit of a unknown. He's massively quick, yes but how much is his success down to him and how much is it down to the Red Bull? There's also some serious question marks about his ability to come through the field - he reminds a bit of what Massa was like 2006-08. If he's in front he's bullet proof and the win's as good as his. Rattle him and make him race and short-comings start to appear. He's also got a massive in-team psychological advantage too. I dunno, he was great for Torro Rosso too (not championship contending great, but then again who would be? I think he makes the most of what Red Bull give him, sure they have the best car (this year, maybe not last, but it was undoubtably up there) but you still need him to guide it home, and he's so efficient and class that there's never any doubt this year that he'd win the Drivers Championship (if something shit happens and he loses i'm gonna get ripped for this )... Besides, he has the best time on top gears track... that totally makes him the best driver ever
