No, the show where we chose our entry was two months ago.

I was always a bit suspicious of Sid's snake.

Tonight I will mainly be listening to this and 18 other expertly crafted slices of meaningless Europop over on BBC FOUR.
-
I'd go and see a Whizzer & Chips movie tbf.

That's why I like running. You get to see the real world and breathe the air - I had a really nice jog along some of the more unloved sections of the Thames Path in the early-morning sunshine today, for example - and you get to see more than you would on a walk for the same amount of time. And then you can eat a fuckload of cake afterwards with no guilt.

Enjoying my running at the minute, with parkrun on Saturdays, a 10k series on Wednesdays at various parks around that London and longer runs sprinkled around when I can, so there's a gym membership getting seriously minimal use as a result. Probably working out at £20 a visit right now. Tough Mudder and its ilk can go whistle. Designed for weirdos who actually liked their school PE teacher.

Turns out some things are worth fearing. Whod have none.

Beautiful prose.

The number of notifications he's going to have if he ever logs in again.

Lets call the whole thing of.

He'll mean my next-door MP and occasional parkrun competitor Heidi Alexander, it's been on the grapevine since last month: https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2018/apr/25/heidi-alexander-thought-to-be-considering-role-at-london-city-hall

Aye, I think poor expectations management from Labour has helped the Tories paint their results as a relative win. The overarching message is still broadly "everyone's shite and we don't like politicians", so no one needs to be getting cocky about anything, quite frankly.
-
Unfortunately he also wants a hard Brexit that'll render his fiscal plans impossible.

The loony left insurgency has made it perfectly clear they'll work to get anyone deselected if they dare to step out of line. Understandable that lots of MPs would try and ride it out and see if the madness passes eventually rather than lining up to eagerly write their own death warrant. What a rabble the political class is right now though, on all sides.

I'll see if I can get a comment from the candidates for Ward/Area Name.

My dad's a liberal, he'd beat him up compassionately.
-
Just got a "Good morning! Today is election day" leaflet through from Labour. Apparently they're so confident round this way that they'll happily send people to the polling station on the wrong day.
-
I am delighted. This improves my dad's chances of victory no end.
-
No but what you don't understand is that my dad could beat up your dad

Ilford Tories with a power stance all of their own

I'll resist the temptation to pass on that feedback.
