    I have come away from this feeling like I have many times this season. The difference is it's against Sunderland and three 20 yarders have been lashed in against us whilst we havent nicked one. We are set up to not lose, it's shit and with the attacking players we have it should be a hell of a lot better.

    I thought we were shit, lacked a fucking clue and although the 2nd half was better it was nowt but messy endeavour. With the players at Pardew's disposal it should be a lot better. The new signings gave the the tean a lift in January when they first arrived but, having had time to settle, they now look a bit lost.

    It was the case. The Salako deal fell through our end after we landed a cut-price Ginola on the back of PSG stitching us up over George Weah. I remember Keegan saying something at the time about feeling sorry for Salako, later blaming John Hall for pulling the plug.
