Geremi for Carroll would have made more sense FFS

Man Utd really getting a hold of the game now. Our midfield really need to get amongst them.
-
Shame that. We were doing ok. Martins passing has been poor though

commentators claiming lovenkrands lost his balance when duck-lip clearly put his arm across him

It was the Evra tackle I've just heard. I reckon there might be more to come for the ronaldo /carrick tackles. Ronaldo went down like he'd been shot, but Taylor did smack him one. Fucking idiot
-
We've rattled them and thats good. We've shown some balls too. Fergie will be giving it the hairdryer treatment now and I expect them to come out of the blocks. Still, if we can keep it tight for the 1st 15mins, we're in with a shout. We've got feck all to lose
-
We're probably going to get dicked, but I see no reason to be defeatist about it. Life is much better with my 'Optimism tinted glasses' on. 0:0 at half time, we'll do a ManU and score the winner in the 96th minute. *takes another deep toke*

So I hear. We're almost all the way through on Hardcore as you can't do Insane until you've completed the game on a lower level. Jumped straight in on hardcore because you also get all the achievement points for easy & medium once you complete it.
-
Yeah, it's good like. Completed the 50 levels to get the achievement. I think I just have the last 10 waves on the combustible maps to complete now. Loving the co-op campaign too. I've actually stopped playing it on my own because I don't want to complete it without my brother (my co-op partner:D ).

I've had two pairs of those in the past. They are nice like

Aye, happy belated birthday pet. Good luck for the impending arrival.

What? does one of you play the till operator and the other the not interested assistant who has to go get prices of things? And you have to wait for ages for it to load as you wait for twenty fucking students to pay for a fucking pack of crisps with a fucking cheque. haha. Sounds like you've played the same game Luke. It's got some bugs in it like. It's possible to refuse to serve certain customers even if they are waaay over 21.

That might hamper his ability to train and play will it not?

Ant, Ok, I referred to the blank page because that was what it was currently doing before I removed it. I take your point about the dead hosts etc. As for picking me up on the secondary feature, how do you know this exploit wasn't designed to do anything more than insert some links into the footer? Is there something you're not telling us... Basically, the code I removed was doing more than just inserting the links and it wasn't part of the core installation either, so I'm not convinced an upgrade would have picked it up. The upgrade will prevent the same attack being successful as it should close that hole, but I was worried the exploit itself may have remained post-upgrade. Perhaps I was a little vague when I referred to the server. I didn't mean taking over the whole server (the access permissions only limit us to our space and you are quite right, that can't be escalated to anything outside of that). However, the information being returned to the remote host could have been used for other purposes. Anyway, thanks for the heads up on where to find the footer code. You're right, the chances of actually getting pulled up for removing it are slim, but for now I'll just change it so that it's not how it currently is. -
Sounds like it all went well - I'm pleased. Keep chipping away

i'm pretty sure no "bastards" were involved and it's simply just a worm who goes to the bother/expertise to exploit something, install backdoors and rootkits etc... then installs adware that doesn't even point to a live host. you'd need to be the worst hacker in the world =D In fairness Ant, there was the bastards who wrote the worm in the first place and those who initiated this particular instance - which is who I was referring to . I know the worm crawls around the web looking for vulnerable installs of the software, but it's doing it for a purpose and on behalf of a real person. The adware etc is just one aspect of the attack. The secondary function of such an attack is usually to compromise the server and use it to propagate further attacks on other servers / installs. Granted, the chances of someone ever actually logging on are somewhat remote, but leaving the code floating around, somewhere in the system, particularly when it may (and was) attached to an aspect of the software unlikely to to be overwritten by the upgrade is just foolish. In one of your earlier posts, you (quite rightly) suggested removing the version number. We can't (and I tried anyway) as it is part of the licence agreement and the software actually prevents you from removing it. I had hoped to replace it with something similar - just without the version. The only way we can remove it is by buying the permission to do so at a cost of $275. Besides, just because it was pointing to a blank page doesn't mean it wasn't doing anything. The blank page is a nice way of remaining undetected (that is, before the AV's catch on and report it) whilst feeding data back to the remote host. -
I bought the Lego Indiana Jones game for the 360 a little wile ago - same kind of stuff. Not bad if you want to pick up and play something non-taxing for a while. Mrs Paws quite likes it too and we play co-op on it

As an update for everyone - work is going on with this issue. Ultimately, the board will be upgraded (there is an issue around that which is being resolved) but before this is done, we're trying to eradicate the problem. Basically, upgrading should remove the vulnerability we've been exploited by, but I want to be sure (as much as I can) that anything that has been added, to allow the bastards access; has been removed. It's pointless upgrading to stop them getting in, if they already have a back door - well, apart from the fact it stops new people trying the same trick; but you get where I'm coming from. We're also doing some other stuff which should harden the board against future attacks. -

*Wanders in to hold his hands up* Sorted. Random blank line got added during some file changes. I blame my code editor..... obviously No one mention anything to do with workmen, their abilities, liability and their tools -
Swap BS for Kendricks and that sounds like a winner for me. Lots of lime though! Not tried that one but I'll look out for it. Another I'm on the lookout for is Tanquery 10. Supposed to have a more citrus infused flavour and is very smooth. Never seen any to buy it like. EDIT: Alex - Tanquery is my 2nd fav Gin Tanqueray 10 is lush but it's well dear. It's made specifically for Martinis where you're drinking almost pure gin though. Probably not worth the extra dosh for G&Ts imo. Yeah, I'd read it was for Martini's, but one review said it was really nice in a G&T. Still if it's really expensive, sounds like it might be a bit of a waste as you say. Agree with Donaldscott too - BS & Tanquery are leagues ahead of the bog standard stuff. To be fair though, std Gordons is hardly rat piss. I find it funny that for a long while, Tanquery wasn't available in the UK even though it's made in Scotland. It was export only IIRC and you could only buy it in duty free etc. My Dad used to bring bottles back if he'd been on business trips.

Did this in the office today. Ignore the results, look at google's suggestion The Citeh fan in the office wasn't happy

If I had to pick just one it would have to be Gin & Tonic with line. Gin must be Bombay Sapphire, Tonic must be Schweppes and the lime must be erm green!

Interesting. My AV is Nod32 by Eset and I'm running FF 3.0.6 My work PC doesnt have adblock or anything like it installed, nor am I running noscript. I am running firebug, but that's irrelevant. Obviously, this is not helping with the solution to this, but if nothing else, it's proved there's no point in me testing to see if the problem still exists because I dont see it in the first place If it is my AV, then I'm impressed by it even more than I am already -

easiest one to spot is 2lines above the close body tag in any page Not on mine it isn't. I'm actually quite curious about this now. I wonder if FF or one of the plugins I have installed could be screening it out or maybe my AV? I didn't think it was that clever.
