Just going through the 60 odd pre-done patches on the thing is a real eye opener to how much this can do, there are loads of famous sounds recreated, usually with PES style slightly dodgy name so you can figure out what it is. I'm not making any patches yet, just figuring out how to use it all has given me option paralysis, too many things I could do. There are a couple of "SFX" demo patches on it which just produce some seriously weird and wonderful sounds as well.

Sort of...was out for a mates birthday last night and was a little less restrained than I would usually be. The RG is gorgeous, feels great as well just need a little bit of setup work I think, I presume what are on it are the factory strings but whoever did that bit sucks at stringing guitars so I may change them while I set the intonation and action. The Helix is fucking mind blowing, I've not gone beyond its preset patches yet and there is just tons and tons of stuff there, so many sounds.

Despite UKIP being battered my home consituency have still managed to elect one to the council. At least we decided not to do a mayoral vote (we had a referendum) though, can't trust the public.

It seems like it can go a long way to some odd shit yeah. I'll unbox and do first impressions tomorrow for Helix and Guitar, proper review to come later once I figure out how to use the thing.
