  1. Yeah but we could probably have had one or two if our players started ignoring the offside rule. Goals correctly being ruled out isn't luck
  2. I wanted Jones to smash one in then so much. If he could get the goal that keeps us up...
  3. He's been alright so far, tracking back properly and driving forward when he gets it. Poor final ball so far thoigh
  4. Sissoko did well there but should've given to colback once he made space
  5. Riviere nearly putting his first chance out for a throw...
  6. Perez and Cabella dropped but riviere plays off the striker. Jesus.
  7. We like him, that doesn't mean he's a smart man.
  8. It gives them a platform to continue though surely? If people keep rioting then eventually they switch from a "the police are shit" to "look at these black people rioting, they're terrible" and the views keep rolling in.
  9. We weren't in need of being "saved" from relegation when he was appointed. we were hovering in mid table and looked safe for all intents and purposes. If we stay up carver won't have saved us from relegation, his ineptitude will have put us in danger of it and we'll have avoided it in spite of him.
  10. Mourinho wins Premier League manager of the season. Whats the point of that award when it just goes to the Manager who wins the league pretty much every season. Surely Mourinho winning the league with Chelsea (who were on very short odds to win the league) is less of a triumph of management than Koeman making Southampton look a better team after losing so many players last summer (and subsequently being considered as potential relegation candidates by many) or Monk doing as well as he has in his first full season as a manager having also lost his best player in January.
  11. Aye I agree with that. I'd be happy with Mclaren, he proven himself to be a capable, if not spectacular, club manager throughout his career. Had the balls to go and manage abroad which almost no english coaches do. Also he's not a complete arsehole which would be a nice change after Pards and Carvs
  12. He's been playing against the same clubs as Joe Hart has. People whine about big club players getting in on their or their clubs reputation but when someone is called up on the back of a good season for a smaller club its "wow look at the players we're calling up, England have gone to the dogs"
  13. woah woah woah, lets not go saying things we don't mean
  14. http://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2015/may/20/football-free-transfers-bosman-europe-sami-khedira-nigel-de-jong-james-milner--danny-ings-dani-alves Can see us doing some work on this list in summer if we stay up. Ayew and Gignac have both been linked with us heavily in the past. Maybe Romero if Krul goes?
  15. Aye lads, its McCarthy or Carver. They're the only possible options.
  16. Whens the last time a pitch invasion resulted in a points deduction in the premier league?
  17. Hasn't done enough to leave us yet. We spent too much on him last summer to sell him at a loss.
  18. It could, worked well for Colo and Enrique. A season playing against lesser quality and greater physicality did wonders for them, they looked like different players in the championship than they had in the PL and carried that on when we came back up.
