It was definitely rushed, more down to the publisher than the dev I reckon. This has had a good long development cycle though.

It is, have they put it on their website at all, I can't find any mention of it. Its fake man, its a 50 foot crab of a species that typically grows to around 5 inches.

Letting them have their shot at the big teams is all very nice but they should be there on merit, it is a competitive sport afterall. Having so many teams bloating the qualifiers and then the tournament itself is getting a bit school sports day with a professional sport.

For us to have had thousands of players we would need to have had an average of (for 1000 so not even several thousand) 8 new players a year since starting up. Of our top 5 appearance holders only 2 are still alive. Of our top 10 goalscorers 4 are still alive. I think we can stretch to a few free tickets for people on those lists and a few others.

I'm enjoying this little tiff between Hodgson and Rodgers, first over Sturridge now Sterling.

Sometimes I see a player doing well and think "god I wish we'd signed him when he was available" like Sigurdsson this season and tonight. Then I realise that it wouldn't have mattered anyway.

Hes only 6'3" hes hardly andre the giant. If he put the effort in to keep himself fit he'd be able to, unless he had a long term problem in which case we still wouldn't want him.

looking at transfermarkt he's had a few knee problems mixed in with various others http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/andy-carroll/verletzungen/spieler/48066 I reckon it is just a case of being incapable of looking after himself, he never seemed able to do it when he was here without someone nannying him. Not what we need.
