Its part of being a team that plays in europe you need a quality squad not just a quality 11. we can't expect to be fine with 11 good players and then another 16 made up of youth and journeymen happy to sit on the bench for a wage. 2 wingers and 1 striker will not be enough for a full season, injuries, suspensions, fatigue etc will all happen
-
no, no one is thinking that its not "one out one in" for fucks sake, if we sell Ba we have ONE striker at the level we want to be at

Newcastle United - 7th largest fanbase in England?
Andrew replied to PrideOfBirmingham's topic in Newcastle Forum
theyre skewed by the game though, as ant said, people set their favourite team as the one they prefer to play as quite a lot -

Newcastle United - 7th largest fanbase in England?

well he's cracked, there is literally no good reason to do this the numbers are available through fifa iirc though -
Newcastle United - 7th largest fanbase in England?

so, again, how do you measure that? attendance is limited by the size of the ground and there are plenty of glory fans who go to games or are we all supposed to trust in your opinion as fact? -
Newcastle United - 7th largest fanbase in England?
Andrew replied to PrideOfBirmingham's topic in Newcastle Forum
what criteria is a "true fanbase" under and how could you measure it? why does only fanbase in england count? if thats the case why do clubs strive to extend their fanbase globally so much? I can name ten players for, probably most/all of the PL and Burnley obviously, at least 4 spanish teams, couple of german ones, some italians, some french and the thing is, I can do that because 1. I love football in general and 2. I play games like fifa and football manager, they might be considered bollocks when people are saying "yeh this guys great hes an 80 on fifa" but names of players? please -
that seems like a distasteful slogan for a charity for blindness

Newcastle United - 7th largest fanbase in England?
Andrew replied to PrideOfBirmingham's topic in Newcastle Forum
but, as any stated, for the most part you set that to whichever club you tend to play as since theyre then your default side so were actually more likely to be the 7th most popular english club people on fifa 12 prefer to play as this has got to rank up there as the stupidest first post I have ever seen -

what a god awful film that was. the problem with the "gritty" batman is that it needs to retain a level of grounded-ness, no magical enemies, which is why Ras al ghul was a pale imitation of himself, no over sci-fi enemies like mr freeze. even the current comic books which are really good with the court of owls are out.

3rd season going well, managed CL finishes in both 1 and 2 and on course to do it this time too considering looking to leave NUFC though as takeover has just completed and the new chairman is clearly a dick "allowed" me to keep my job after a very good first 2 seasons, promised hed invest 10 mil in the training ground then changed his mind once he was finished taking over. knob
