I'd have hated it since he would only be going to chelsea or man city and I hate both of those clubs, I can remain in admiration of him while staying neutral to his club in this way

Consortium in £90m bid to buy Newcastle and keep Shearer as boss
Andrew replied to Jimbo's topic in Newcastle Forum
seems like we'd be getting both with this story, local business men with middleeast backing, sounds a little too good to be true -
have a mag preview/interview thingy that I bought for the feature on AC2, seems like they've varied up the combat and the games missions and such, for one you get them from multiple source and they aren't all "go here, kill this guy" like the first one, some apparently require you to be a theif or investigate something or other, I'm well looking forward to it

I don't know, to be honest I play games like this to play against my mates more than online or on my own so we generally pick the teams we play best with or do random so the lack of NUFC won't hit me that hard, plus I can always make us for the master league anyway, it will really dependson the demos for me, if I see evidence that PES has made an effort to improve the defence AI (my main problem with pes) then I will probably stick with pes unless fifa really impresses me

If you've ever worked in an office that's going through a merger, or been bought out, or even if there's just going to be a shift in policy, the workers do get distracted, and give we don't have much quality, we can ill afford distracted shit players. there is a difference though, football clubs aren't normal businneses they work differently, a new owner isn't going to come in and start canceling players contracts left right and centre when the trans window isnt open

hes...alright not for 3m though

different people or is that just whats hes calling himself these days?
-
that would require him to conform
-
Nobody has ever claimed to be the voice of all fans, that would never be possible. Your homepage is full of quotes man http://www.newcastle-united-supporters-clu...ber.php?ident=3 er ........no! you read that as "we are the voice of all the fans"?

KD is right, any brand new supporters group should ensure that every single fan is a member of it before it begins to exist though you'll have to ask him how to make that work

Notts County are on the brink of being taken over by a consortium of businessman based in the Middle East. Munto Finance Ltd, an acquisition vehicle created to gain control of the Magpies, are looking to transform the fortunes of the League Two side. The Meadow Lane outfit, the world's oldest football league club, have spent the last 14 years in the third or fourth tier of the English game. Munto's proposal has already been accepted by the board at Notts with two members of the consortium joining the club's hierarchy. Magpies chairman John Armstrong-Holmes told the club's official website: "At a specially convened club board meeting held on Tuesday evening, the club board discussed the proposal from Munto which was accompanied by proof of funds and unanimously agreed to recommend its acceptance to all shareholders. "Two of the Munto group, Peter Trembling and Peter Willett, were appointed to the club board with immediate effect to assist in the process." Nottingham-born Trembling previously worked as commercial director for Everton and was vice-president and head of sport at MBNA International Bank. Once the deal is completed he is expected to be named as the Magpies' new chief executive. Armstrong-Holmes added: "Munto is eager to complete the deal as early as possible to plan for next season and, subject to shareholders agreeing to it, the takeover could be completed within a few weeks." Sorry, had to be done
