My ex's dad went through something similar (which I posted on here at the time and CT pretty much dismissed it and said that he must have been lying) and I know what it can do to people. Like you they just stopped the money without warning, which caused a hell of a lot of distress. All of this despite references from three consultants advising that he wasn't fit for work. He did win his appeal in the end but it doesn't take away the stress and uncertainty that this shambolic process caused. Hope you can get a similar outcome.
