How many points will we finish the season with?
Happy Face replied to Baggio's topic in Newcastle Forum
Graphed it For 2012 the Bottom value is the current total (59), middle one the expected finish total based on current points per game (59/33) multiplied by 38 games (68) and the top line is if we win the 5 games remaining (74) - which would be our best total since 1996 -

Got it on my HTC desire HD but it never pops up on it's own. You have to give it a good old shake. Anyway, when you do it there should be a little "i" on the screen, press that and you can disable.

Don't think you got any abuse from me. i just didn't agree with you. All credit to you though. We're still in with a shout. -
Bumped this as the thread I've (deservedly) got most stick for (team negative, big bully etc.) Spectacularly and pleasingly wrong as I was on the Newcastle front, every other prediction I made despite what the league suggested at the time was spot on. As barnstorming as Man City (1st 25pts) have been (and even though they pulverised Man U), I'd still go with Man U (2nd 20 pts) for the title cos they've still kept it tight despite their much more difficult start. (Man City have blown it) Liverpool and Chelsea have no excuses for their relatively poor starts. (Chelsea were 3rd and Liverpool 6th and have dropped) Villa are 9th, but look like they could be relegation bait in the long run. (dropped right down and only just about safe now) QPR (10th) could be heading for disaster without having made more of their fixtures. (right in the mix now, wish I'd put money on them rather than Villa). Bolton (18th) have a valid excuse for their position it seems. Not so much the Mackems (14th) and Blackburn (20th), but arguably so. (All three have climbed up from their lowly positions). Think I'll do it again in October 2012 and place a few more bets.

Alan Pardew - Poltroon sacked by a forrin team
Happy Face replied to Kid Dynamite's topic in Newcastle Forum
In terms of Premier League Games played (55) Pardew is now our longest serving manager apart from Sir Berb, King Kev and Cunt Kenny. 2 more games and he'll leap-frog the cunt anaarl. Surprising, impressive and reassuring.- 10610 replies

Pleased to see him get a round of "one Alan Pardew" yesterday. Seems to have reached the tipping point where he's got the majority convinced.- 10610 replies

We're second on form and that momentum counts for a lot. Arsenal are third on that score so no great reason to think they'll trip up. Spurs are 16th though, and whether it's down to the England speculation or summat else, one win in 6 (from mediocre teams - Norwich, Swansea, Sunderland, Chelsea, Stoke and Everton) is cause for great optimism imo.

If factual, insightful, detailed analysis like that is negative btw, this place needs to shut down in case a negativity vortex is created that swallows the internet.

You might be a candidate for treatment if you're wounding why he is happy. Is it because he's indulging in smart arsed one upamnship of the most over the top nature? fair play to him and all others who predicted us finsihing higher than about 8th. I think its a pretty small list. Does that make all those who didnt necessarily negative though? Don't think CT actually predicted a position. In January he predicted Europe....and also wembley in both cups. There was a small group who said 7th... @YourService Deano McFaul Tiote's Nutz Toonotl and Ewerk said 8th.
