  1. I think the porn thing might garner an outrage when it actually happens. Or people will migrate to TOR. The problem is, that just makes things more dodgy... Ultimately, we can't mobilise in defense of porn because our wives will leave us. I seriously think that's a factor here.
  2. I think he's going to have to be very careful. He's not in office yet so all of this stuff we're seeing presently doesn't matter too much IMO, but as soon as he is, that's that.
  3. I don't think we're a million miles away from that...
  4. ..! No cowards at all? None? Fucking hell. Rafa's signings have even won essembee over.
  5. Yeah was £28m I think? Levy seems really good at extracting the maximum possible out of other clubs when it comes to selling their players, but he's shocking when it comes to purchases. Although that's probably more on their scouting team than anyone else.
  6. I think we can assume that this year should be all sunshine and roses, it'll be establishing ourselves in the PL where it'll get grim again.
  7. At least this is one of those things that, as ewerk says, we'll know the answer to in 18 months time.
  8. Of course in my opinion - which is why I think they're misguided rather than corrupt. And yes, all newspapers have them - what frustrates me about the Guardian is that its as close as we can get to a mainstream newspaper of the 'left', and it sidelines itself with nonsense at the altar of a failing political agenda. But they do carry out extremely important work despite this.
  9. I'd be surprised if Trump hasn't come under sustained and obvious criticism in that time.
  10. No sorry - they were right on that. They're misguided about their incorrectly conceived 'left' agendas.
  11. The Guardian aren't corrupt IMO, just misguided.
  12. I did wonder why I fitted in so well on here with all the 'perverts and sex pests'.
  13. The cynicism is there for me, it's just that I don't think they'll immediately warm to the seat of power when it's being occupied by someone outside the displaced establishment. I think they'll go right back to pulling him down. I think they revealed what they did because it makes him look bad.
  14. Fucking hell. It's not even like that last one doesn't have an element of truth to it...
  15. Yes but looks what it opens the door to. Parents should take responsibility for their kids on this IMO. There's all manner of controls you can put in place these days, and we have that freaking opt in bit as well. Why not make this bit of legislation opt in? Kids can be protected and everyone else can be free to do as they please. Moreover, there is no way, simply none, that this is workable. As soon as they do this, kids will find a way around it before the majority of the rest of us.
  16. To be brutally honest, it's not one of my 'go to' themes, so I really don't know, but I'd be highly surprised if it wasn't viewable on the internet. What they're proposing here is that it will be blocked.
  17. I'm assuming that's character assassination and not something he actually has form for...
  18. The government is on the cusp of banning non-conventional porn on the internet This is as part of that move to put age restrictions on porn sites and to block any which refuse to adopt this. According to the article, the feminists who pushed for this are surprised that acts such as female ejaculation will now be banned from being viewed in the UK as well... as if they thought that suppressing people's freedoms wouldn't somehow come back to bite them? https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2016/nov/23/censor-non-conventional-sex-acts-online-internet-pornography So, mass surge in demand for proxies, just around the corner. We are the only Western country doing this, incidentally. We're now on par with China.
  19. If they go down it's hard to imagine them challenging immediately given how poor their squad is. We went down because our comparably decent squad was poorly managed, they're just shit. Then again, maybe they'd throw money at the problem. I don't think they'll go down now anyway, they're turning a corner and Sunderland being who they are, will find a way to escape somehow.
  20. I would genuinely be surprised if they ignored his failings too. Especially after what came out in the run up to his election. They'd lose all credibility.
  21. I do as well - insofar as I'll check out the message boards of other teams. Usually when we beat them But i'd draw the line at actually having a conversation with them, it just looks so hopelessly infuriating. Well, especially with the mackems at least.
  22. I think it will become quite clear which one of you is 'right' as we move forward. I'd be surprised if the media fell into line in truth, not because I think they have a collective spine, but because they'll see Trump as a temporary blip in otherwise uninterrupted Neolib establishment control. Then again, maybe the President of the US simply has more sway over them than our leaders have over our press.
