  1. Actually not a bad shout... Sissoko is offering nothing and it might be time to start putting out sides that don't feature him.
  2. Thing is, what can Rafa possibly change? He's put basically the best team out and to be frank we do look more motivated than usual - we're just rubbish though, at the end of the day.
  3. I'm not even sure it's a case of 'one goal might settle us down'. We might just be this bad.
  4. Can Anita play left back...? We need to get Colback off.
  5. What a relief it is to have Mbemba playing...
  6. We have to win this, there's no coming back from losing it IMO. Norwich are picking up too many points and while Pardew still seems intent on gatecrashing the party I'm not sure it'll be enough. Absolutely have to win it. No idea if we actually will though.
  7. He'll play, it'll just be smoke and mirrors.
  8. The kid is definitely leaning back as well
  9. Now that's good news...suddenly this feels like a game we should cruise (famous last words).
  10. Man Utd/Liverpool is actually a pretty decent game...
  11. Yep, because they were really up against it in the last GE when Corbyn wasn't leading the party. Labour were so close to sweeping into power...
  12. Classic clickbait headline. Not that the underlying stat isn't interesting.
  13. True actually, I'm not convinced that City are all that good defensively when he doesn't play.
  14. The Fish hoisted by his own petard by essembee no less...
  15. We're gonna be right up against it here...
  16. No way in fuck did we just concede to a bicycle kick
  17. If McClaren was still here this thread would be 5 comments long, all of them depressing. Nice to be optimistic for a change, even if it does prove fruitless in the end.
  18. Fish's position on this board is to occupy and vouch for the centreground. He's like old New Labour - campaigning for what he considers to be a left wing agenda (staying up last season and this season) only to be caught cold by the sudden surge of further left political thought (Rafa is going to turn the whole club on its head and we'll start moving forward at last) and thus finding himself sitting off on the right with a bemused look on his face and trying to temper everyone's expectations (Rafa has a big job on his hands and we still might get relegated - even if we don't it's no guarantee, etc.)
