She got through the operation. Had excess tissue removed from her soft palate and larynx and had her nostrils widened. They are keeping her in due to risk of bleeding and the vet is calling back at 6 with an update. Thank fuck!

Sorry for whinging on about it but the puppy is in the vets tonight. She is having an operation on her soft palate tomorrow morning which "will" help with her general breathing issues and her pneumonia. Problem is that they aren't sure how she will react to the anaesthetic what with having a 4mm windpipe and still having the pneumonia, got really upset leaving her tonight. Only had her 5 months and despite being a costly nightmare, it wouldn't be the same in our house without her. Fingers crossed!

Been up in the north east for a couple of days visiting family. Went to Newcastle today, had a mooch and a bit of scram at Pleased To Meet You. Food was canny enough but the service wasn't great.

Pet Friends. It's their top package because she was always liable to have health issues. They are claiming that the kennel cough caused her pneumonia, when in reality it was her really small windpipe which is genetic, so technically a pre existing condition, but there was no way of anyone knowing until something happened. £1373 last night plus the previous £700 odd, so I deffo want it back from someone. We told the breeder out of courtesy so she could keep an eye on future litters and she got proper defensive, never been an issue for her dogs blah blah. Told us to contact the kennel club if we had any issues. Well I wasn't going to but now I just might, doyle.

Got her home last night (potato quality photo - old iPad). Just got a nice fight on with the breeder and insurance for the vet bills now.
