  1. Remember that Peggy Babcock tongue-twister game on it. What the fuck was that all about? It was nee Tizwas. And did everyone else used to fancy Sally James?
  2. I quite like it. Chance for a bit of peace tbh. I can't get me head round it when you see couples doing the weekly shop with about 3 kids in tow. Talk about creating stressful situations for no good reason.
  3. Alistair Pirrie apparently: What MF said, tbh

  5. Pretty sure it was Alistair something, aye
  6. I almost always take food into work. Bit of fruit, raw veg etc. and a couple of wraps. The only other options are a cafe or Gregg's. Don't mind the latter and the former is canny nice but I wouldn't want to be eating there every day from a money or health perspective. That said, after my Xmas do the week before last I'd been to both for a stottie, pastie plus curry sauce and chips before half 11.
  7. Constantly racked with guilt about being tight as a bad chest.
  8. I used to love that programme. I bet it hasn't aged well. There used to be another one called 240-Robert of a similar ilk from back then I used to watch too. Think it was shown as part of Razzmatazz on Tyne Tees on a Saturday morning. Jesus, the shit you remember.
  9. Just go to confession. Sorted
  10. I'm sure I remember her being sexier like. She probably was at the time. Also I just had a google and Bruce Jenner was in it for a bit so that's your role sorted out.
  11. It's fuck all to do with you, man. Stop being such a fanny
  12. I did wonder why his mates were calling him Poncherello when I saw him in Tilley's.
  13. Probably over the moon he has a ready-made excuse for not seeing them tbh
  14. Nah, he built another great side but it had the likes of Gilberto Silva in the engine room. Ljunberg was a team player rather than one of the pretty midfielder's he's obsessed with now. There was plenty steel in the back four as well which, as Ewerk mentions, was all players he brought in. I think Bergkamp was about the only regular he inherited.
  15. I saw that when I was really young too. I think I found that more disturbing than stuff that's pure violence.
  16. Absolutely, hence 'relatively'. All I was saying was it seems to be almost forgotten that Wenger has abandoned a winning formula as opposed to it no longer being the case that you can win it his way. It's only been his way in the second half of his reign at Arsenal.
  17. The issue is having to bat to save a game when you've no chance of winning. I don't think there's many have the right mindset.

I'm so fucking soft these days I have to distance myself from this sort of thing. I can't handle the details. I don't know how you do your job, Gloom. I don't mean that as a dig at all, btw.
  19. England should bat out a draw but I bet they don't
  20. Aye. This was about 10 years ago but I used to work in town and a lass in the office used to regularly get one and it was just a salad. Even she agreed the name was beyond poncey.
  21. Discussed this with Tooj and a few others before but the strange thing about Wenger is that his best sides at Arsenal have fused flair with pragmatism and steel. It's his abandonment of that in place of a more purist philosophy which has seen them be relatively unsuccessful under him.
