  1. Booking for a dive but not a booking for a dive trying to win a pen? Fuck off
  2. Yeah I think especially when he starts out wide. Too easy for the opposition to double up on him and keep him out the game.
  3. I was happy for them when they deservedly beat us but the way they went on (fans and club) about the legitimate complaints about the stadium. They can get to fuck tbh
  4. He really is a cunt amongst cunts.
  5. Absolutely spot on. I couldn’t give a flying fuck about it beyond thinking it seems to be a positive in terms of our getting results. In much the same way as our being liked is something we shouldn’t care about. Like when was a team who had any semblance of sustained success liked by neutrals?
  6. If he was 43 and from Italy he wouldn’t have a 20+ year career as a fair to middling journeyman manager. Just as well. If they had a young, promising manager showing potential they wouldn’t be able to hang onto him anyway.
  7. Spot on that. Not least the fake Mr Nice Guy stuff Bruce puts out
  8. Latest grift tbh 👍🏻
  9. Thought you’d be avoiding that sort of thing anyway tbh
  10. I was just saying the latest increases are on top of other financial burdens. I wasn’t suggesting it would help much in terms of solving the underlying issues.
  11. Or looking after their wellbeing, etc. it’s fucking mental how much some clubs neglect that sort of thing when you consider how valuable players are as assets and how much it can impact on their play etc. It comes as absolutely no surprise given the previous manager / regime that Willock wasn’t supported though (reading between the lines)
  12. Back when shorts were short Agreed though. Absolutely loved the black / silver* Umbro club tracksuit I had back then too. *more of a grubby grey
  13. The other thing about the interest rates being ‘normal’ is it being against a backdrop of the highest inflation in a couple of generations. Which, despite the Tories almost unchallenged claims that it is beyond their control and nothing to do with Brexit, is roughly double what comparable economies are experiencing.
  14. @strawb here you go. Do it anti-clockwise to save the best view for near the end. It’s way-marked so you don’t need to do much in the way of navigating. Definitely one for a clear day: https://www.countryfile.com/go-outdoors/walks/walk-simonside-hills-northumberland/
  15. There’s a good one where you can go up in the Simonside Hills. It’s quite easy but the views are fantastic on a clear day. You can see over to the Cheviots but also can see virtually the whole of the Northumberland coast at the eastern end of the walk. Also has the advantage of being a circular walk with the start / finish point being a Forestry Commission carpark. It was partially closed because of Storm Arwen but I think I read it reopened again recently. I’ll see if I can find the the link. If you don’t enjoy it you can chin me.
  16. They’ve even managed to make that about race
  17. Tbf, they only finished 11 points behind Luton (with an inferior goal difference)
  18. The alleged official wedding season is back
  19. Aye, well it’s poor practice anyway to try and make evidence fit a preconceived version of events. Even more so when the ‘evidence’ and reasoning is that tenuous.
  20. It’s full of comments where people had no issues booking the tickets online which suggests those queueing are just a few decades behind the rest of the UK. Which obviously isn’t news to anyone on here
  21. Might be a decent idea to put a nsfw tag on that post
