Well, as they love to claim, everyone knew what they were voting for

At the meeting it would just basically be him saying the landlords should drastically lower the rents otherwise he’ll close all the stores.

I was thinking Graham Norton on Father Ted

Wikipedia’s been updated with more details about the events: Quite tragic really as he was clearly not the full shilling but it doesn’t really excuse his selfishness either

If what he says is true then the Watford fans must’ve had low expectations of him. -
Well i wouldn’t have thought this was the first time he’d encountered a language he couldn’t speak

Yeah. What a fucking shame

I was thinking that too. There has been some contact and limited study of the people on the island over the centuries but when they took some people from another tribe which is thought to be culturally similar they couldn’t understand the language of these islanders. How the fuck did he think he was going to be able to make them understand him?
-
Heard about this and I’ve read some stuff about that island before. Apart from anything else, as the article states, he could’ve exposed the islanders to potentially fatal diseases.

Will someone answer Andrew’s simple question?

Only works properly if you’re honest with yourself though

Completely misses the point about how affordable it was then compared to now -
Also, her government has made it increasingly difficult for non-EU nationals / non-UK citizens to become employed in the UK. As well as sponsoring individuals you now need to demonstrate before employing people from outside the EU that you’ve advertised the job for a set amount of time. Also you need to show that no one (not requiring sponsorship but suitable for the job) was passed over before offerythe job to a non EU / UK citizen. So, to cut a long story short, the UK government is basically blaming the EU once again and promising to remedy a situation they caused with their own unilateral policy. Even better when you think they’d only done it in the first place to appease leave voters who don’t like brown people. Brexit in microcosm

Articulates well what I’ve been trying to say about the Beeb for a while. The point about their idea of balance is spot on too.

Read that before, Meenzer might’ve posted it on here before. Seems even longer ago than that -
The ‘tattoo’ ones are good. Particularly like how the font is practically unreadable. They’ll do well generally too by producing extraordinarily average merchandise in a highly competitive market
