  1. It's almost like we have less bargaining power. Just a good thing most countries love us
  2. Sels is in the provisional Begian squad too
  3. Lee Ryder been out in the sun I see
  4. Meenz made the point too about identifying areas as Brexit / Remain is a mistake when it's more nuanced. Also, can't see staunch Labour areas in the North going blue and UKIP are an irrelevance in terms of votes
  5. Don't really disagree with you on the whole but I think the binary choice of 2017 was the undoing of the Lib Dems
  6. Don't be put off by The Father Thing. It's pretty much an Invasion of the Body Snatchers type of thing which reflects that it was an early PKD short story written in the 50s. The other 3 are a bit cleverer than that
  7. Just watched the last four episodes of Philip K. Dick's Electric Dreams. The first 6 shown before Xmas were decent but felt little a bit like a poor man's Black Mirror but I thought these were a better. The first one (Episode 7 The Father Thing) was probably the weakest of the 4 but still good. The rest were excellent. Highly recommended if you like that dystopian Sci-Fi type of thing. Pretty relevant to the current shitshow we're living through
  8. Totally different type of centre-forward
  9. Agreed. I still think he's a good player who would do a job but there's better options out there for both us and him
  10. Ironically I think the Tories could've destroyed Labour by adopting that but they're balls deep into making Brexit appear as hard as possible with their 'will of the people' bullshit
  11. He's choosing to do nothing to suit his agenda is the most likely thing imo. He has been dealt a difficult hand though (as has May).
  12. Torres loss of pace meant that he was no longer particularly suited to the Premier League when he (effectively) left 3 and a half years ago
  13. Did you just make that up? Or is that a piss-take?
  14. Is anyone supposed to believe for one second that you give a fuck?
  15. There was definitely a bit of the Trump effect whereby it got to the point where he was criticised so much, so one-sidedly and so unfairly that it had the opposite effect
  16. I sit somewhere in the middle with Corbyn and can sympathise with both views (I appreciate Rayvin isn't the 'Corbynista' he's sometimes portrayed as) but I think it's a shame about Corbyn's intransigence re: Brexit which is a real issue and a shame, i.e. with a few tweaks I'd be right behind him but in some ways he is almost as bad as May because of his stubbornness (whatever the actual motive behind that actually is - I'm really not sure).
  17. Almost past caring if I'm honest
  18. Also, Labour are polling a couple of points worse than they were at the last election. Whilst the Tories are too all that suggests he simply can't win (when you take into consideration how the government have somehow managed to be even more shambolic than they were prior to the election).
  19. I see Abramovich wasn't at the cup final because there's been a delay over the renewal of his UK visa
  20. You picked letters in Blockbusters, you moron
  21. Mac off Always Sunny... is less in denial than CT
