Alan Pardew - Poltroon sacked by a forrin team
scoobos replied to Kid Dynamite's topic in Newcastle Forum
Spot on. I never understood why he got the armband, so he shouldn't even have that responsibility. He's not looked himself for quite some time.- 10610 replies

Look, I realise we've had 2 historically bad results at home. My problem with this statement is that you can't really argue he "has the players" in the first place, when you draft in half a first team in January and expect them to fit in. It takes Man-U a year or more to get some of its new signings (especially the prospects) going into the first team. The problem for me will always sit at the board level, whats any manager to do with 12 first team players at the start of a campaign. We all knew that just 1 or 2 injuries would crock us, we've had 5 or more. Yes, pardews baffling defensive tactics annoy, but no one was moaning last year when he was essentially the same guy. Changing managers gets us nowhere, but then we can't do anything about the board either, despite the NUST trying its best....

As many legendary performances he's had - I don't want to see him back on principle. He has nothing to do with the future of this club, he's made his intentions clear. If his flounce was based on anything that would be understandable, we would know about it. Instead we've got dodgy translations of statements made overseas and no thanks or apology to us. I am in the few who really doesn't believe we can get relegated . I dare even type in on here.

I once followed through with about 5 mins to go, playing liverpool years ago. Does that count? Why taylor williamson? Have we officially lost faith with Ywanga now?
-
I had a sneaky suspicion that Ba read this forum, judging by his statements during and shortly after his move. Howay the lads! I'll be there shouting them on, the useless knackered old french buggers Taylor for england might even come out if he pulls some hi-jinks. Taylor as captain next year.. come on.

The focus on getting rid of a manager again, rather than how in the hell do we get our club back from these loons who are gambling with a cities heritage.
-
*sings* dream on dreamer, but life gets in the way.
-
Please though, let it be the first half an hour , not the last when we are trailing with shola replacing someone far more effective than himself.

I didn't think he had intent, until the coverage from many angles came out the next day - and its pretty obvious that he went in to hit him hard. Maybe not break his leg, but he had intent all over his face.

Alan Pardew - Poltroon sacked by a forrin team

it's all a bit harsh given the complete lack of investment in the summer. Seeing the January signings as a quick fix is niave imo. It's the exception to the rule that a non domestic player immediately fits into a team in the premership. Until next season (hopefully with at least another striker on the books by then) we can't judge him too harshly. He's had a crap hand for many months of this campaign - fielding the youngsters regularly at one point. Contrary to many peoples opinions, I think our "youth" team breaking through is more the players that just haven't been up to scratch after buying them as a good prospect. Marv doesn't have the right attitude - Ferguson has a lot of developing to do, Sammy never really made the impact we'd hoped for . Perhaps Brig and Campbell will break through - but the others are no where near premiership standard imo. For all his skills I think Marv would struggle even in League one , until wizard of oz style , he finds his heart and courage somewhere.- 10610 replies

Glad to see we have a little media coverage of this : http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/liverpool/10017442/You-cant-compare-Luis-Suarez-bite-with-Callum-McManaman-tackle-insists-Roberto-Martinez.html

Right, so please someone put me straight. Horror tackle on Haidara - ref didnt see it - FA say they cant take retrospective action. Suarez bites Ivanvoic - ref didnt see it - "The FA said the match officials had not seen it during the game at Anfield and it had been "retrospectively reviewed"." ey....

I think I should be able to manage Newcastle, because there aren't enough Managers in the premier league with cysts on their balls that wont go away. For every job given to a black manager I think they should have interviewed at least one person with a really uncomfortable cyst just in the "seating" area of his plums. Lets call it the Buster Gonad rule.
-
I think he (was?) a quality player myself . To say hes not good enough for our first team is harsh - given how Jonas has been asked to play, Taylors first choice for that role in my book.
-
given the recovery times and the chances of re-occurence - yes. No worries about the newbies even, the banter is missed where I'm living at the moment.

that video just made me think he's less interesting (50 sec goal aside).

There are 192 Uefa Pro Licence owners in England and 14 of those are black coaches - I assume that includes Chris Hughton, Powel at al. so less than 20.
-
Given that there's perhaps only 20 black managers in the english game - it's a bit silly. They'd argue they are trying to increase that number, but its football getting involved in politics and not really appropriate, I reckon. The problem is that not enough black people want to be manager, or that club owners are slightly racist - this is a reflection of society or conditions, not football.

I think the language of the report says it is the same knee. Such a shame for smiler.

Ashley's taken £11m out of the club in 2012
scoobos replied to Happy Face's topic in Newcastle Forum
I'm a company director and I am duty bound to release accounts every year and I don't detail any interest on directors loans.I just have to fill out a CT61 so the interest is taxable (this is personal tax, not corporation tax) The interest just gets lumped all under the same category of non-re-imbursable expenses. Caveats here - I'm not an accountant and only run a LTD company. -

That's very nice if true (i'm not saying its not, I just don't know how you could tell). I thought he'd be too shrewd a businessman to at least not charge the equivalent inflation value. Chelsea are screwed though, I remember reading that Roman had them at 4.5% interest on his money - given that they've spent hundreds of millions its scary for them. I always smile when the fans get anywhere near attacking Roman in the stands (The guy's a real crim imo.) -

This is many foreign owners trick. Roman A at chelsea has done a magnificent job. Money into the company is marked as a loan - so Roman hasn't put anything into Chelsea - Chelsea is in massive debt to Roman, with a very unfavourable interest rate. Same with NUFC and Ashley. Always annoyed me in the media when they talk about foreign owners "buying players" - they are not, they are financing the club at cost and the club is buying players. If Roman wanted to , he could force Chelsea into liquidation and perhaps even turn a long term profit on his loans. My view. -
Did you mean fat (ish) ?

Getting a bit worried about his durability now.

Mental. Yeah, lets change manager when we've got owners that seem able to annoy anyone by overriding them. Did you read the outcome of the Keegan trial? I'm happy we've got a manager of Pardew's standard to be honest, I think we're dreaming of anyone better. So, another for the keep him in camp - I reckon he can take the crap the board give him.
