I wish it on me. I only go to work on the hope I'll be made redundant (that view only lasts until the Tories manage to change the terms of course ) Can see where you're coming from. I suppose I'm glad that the redundancy has given me a push I needed to get out of here... but being on the job hunt and also having to be in an office where everybody is in the same boat is a bit bad. Makes for a terrible atmosphere.

Am a bit bored. Work is depressing at the moment as the morale is so low... I don't wish redundancy on anybody!

Another thing that boils my piss is silly cunts like you. I don't see how my views differ from anyone elses in this thread.. including yours!

Biggest twats on the road by a mile.... Walking to work is a complete nightmare sometimes, especially before work in the town centre. There is sort of a decking area near my office where pedestrians are meant to use it to cross the fountains etc... but the cyclists take it over at such a stupid pace all dodging each other as well as us. They need to be treated the same as car users when it comes to jumping red lights, cycling on pavements etc.

I'm meant to be seeing it tomorrow night. May give it a miss after some of the reviews I've heard....

I'm sat at work now with the worst feeling ever. Still a bit drunk and got such a headache/stomach ache... never drinking on a school night again!

Cheers guys. Just got back from Turkey so put my cv about before I left... Got an interview on Tuesday with a fairly decent company so am happy with that. Bali was awesome Barney. Was my first time outside of Europe so was a bit of an eye opener... Everybody out there was so friendly and the weather was odd too. Morning was bright sunshine, but come 2 o'clock on the dot the heavens would open and storm for the rest of the day!

Was a good watch with a few funny moments. That Bruce character reminded me of Andy Carroll when he was growing his mop.... Looks wise and the way I imagine Carroll acts on a night out!

First time I went to London like a complete tourist ended up going out in Covent Garden... Got stung financially and it was full of tossers! Same with Leicester Square I think. I go to Brick Lane and Shoreditch now as I've got some mates who live in East London, is far better.

Does anybody with an iPhone have any idea if there is an app that controls profiles? Is a bit of an arse having to scroll through the menus to turn different things on and off depending on where you are.

Got told about a month ago that I was being made redundant on the 22nd June. Hadn't really bothered looking for jobs as I was in Bali, but now am back and started looking yesterday. Am fairly excited actually though as it's a chance to move my career on, just pretty glad I did my CII exams while I had the chance as it should put me in good stead for the jobs I apply for. Give it a month and I'll be tearing my hair out as I've not been able to find anything....

Where are you at the moment? Mrs R got a flight to Bristol this morning, it was nearly empty apparently. Have been in Kuala Lumpur since Sunday. Rang the British Embassy this afternoon.. they gave us a number for some woman at Malaysian airlines instead of the shitty call centre number that the airline gave us. They're putting two extra flights on tomorrow (one to Heathrow and one to Gatwick as Heathrow is too busy apparently). We're booked on the one to Gatwick which is by complete chance as if we had waited on the airline to contact us we'd still be stranded.

Well looks like flights are back to normal. Complete shite still though cos we've been booked on a flight on the 1st May due to all the backlog. If I can't get back until the 1st May I'll miss my holiday to Turkey, which is meant to leave from Gatwick then!

I do hope so. Though with the backlog it's going to be rather crazy. Can't see myself leaving here for a few days at least (shame eh...)

Anybody ever been to Kuala Lumpar before? Was meant to fly back today after a stop over from Bali but am obviously stuck here indefinitely... Spose it gives me a chance to see the towers but I was meant to have an exam Tuesday and a job interview Wednesday!

I'm only 22 and already I can feel the hangovers getting worse. Can have 4/5 pints on a week night, not get that pissed but wake up as if I've got ten times more drunk. If I have a couple of heavy nights out over the weekend and haven't really recovered by the Tuesday or Wednesday I tend to just feel miserable and get more stressed than usual.

That's probably the stance the insurance company will take. They tend not to cover wear and tear so if there are signs of it falling down before the collapse they might ask why you did nothing about it....

Arsenal a few years back? It pissed down, Titus made his usaul fuckin howler live in front of the nation and Bernard scored a cracker in a pretty good performance which we lost 3-2. And Jenas seemed to do the daftest hand ball ever iirc.

Anybody ever been? (Presume a few of you will have gone for that quality game.) Am going tomorrow for a mates birthday (10 of us) and apparently it's pretty dead in the off season. Can somebody recommend an area to go where there'll be some decent bars and restaurants open late? Ta in advance
