You need to refresh your timeline First of all, even when I refresh the latest comments dont show up and usually it does it automatically. EG If i have a chrome tabs open for toontastic and twitter, when a tweet comes through a 1 0r 2 etc will show in the top of the twitter tab. You have to be following both people in the conversation for it to appear in your timeline...

The original Twitterer. I've been flying the Twitter flag and casting Facebook into the pot of shit it is for years Used to use Facebook religiously at uni, but think most people did. Now it's more of an annoyance, especially on a match day between say, Man Utd vs Liverpool.

Flying out to Miami this time next week. Flying to the west coast and driving up to Vegas from San Diego. A fair drive but can't wait... Never been to America and mostly looking forward to Vegas. The two lads I'm going with have also got girlfriends though so will be a look but don't touch kind of trip

I have to say there's a few wronguns on my list, because "kayenufc", looks borderline 16, it aint right like call me old fashioned, but it's just not. Is that the one with next to nowt on? She appeared on my "who to follow" list. She's either a fake or has a complete screw loose

I went on a few training courses at a place called Learning Tree 3 or 4 years ago - 3/4 day things with an exam at the end on a Friday afternoon - you get a nice certificate which really counts for nowt but the actual courses are pretty decent. Anyway I remember one where a lad didn't bother with the exam as he said that he'd vowed after leaving university never to take another test in his life - pretty weird attitude I thought. Is quite strange to do the course but not do the exam. Got some qualifications last year which was purely exam based but doing this coursework is a bit of an arse.

I'm meant to be doing some coursework at the moment for a marketing course. First bit of coursework I've done in about 4 years, proper struggling to settle down to it! Don't think I'll bother doing any other qualifications after this one.

Used to love curry takeaways but those "meal for one/two" things that Tesco or Sainsburys do are quality, work out cheaper than a takeaway too and you only have to stick them in the oven. I do miss having a Dominoes near by since moving from a city. The pizza takeaway place here is greasy as anything.

They probably did a search for Jade Goody or something and your tweet showed up in it. Anyone in the world can see what you tweet unless you set your account to private. So any old wrongun, who's not on my list could just view what I've written? If they search for it, yeah. It won't appear in their timeline unless they follow you but as Jade Goody was 'trending' today I imagine by chance she clicked on 'Jade Goody' and your post was near the top. Only know this shite cos have had to do a bit of social media stuff for work.

Since moving jobs a few months back and not being able to walk to work anymore I had to join a gym. Bit of an arse to get motivated to get there but is a great feeling leaving refreshed knowing you don't have to do it again for a day or two

See she missed BBC breakfast this morning (thankfully) because of London traffic. Surely she knows how bad London traffic could be, or at least her advisers could let her know! How people look up to her is madness, but it's mugs like me that talk about/get annoyed about her that keeps her on the tele.

hahaha....is it really that bad? where should i go to meet up with other fans then? We got into the away end about an hour before KO and there were plenty of people in there for a bit of atmosphere. Served beer in the away end too.

Stoke is my least favourite away trip that I've done. The day itself was cracking cos we went out pre match in Brum but Stoke itself a dive. Wouldn't want to do the walk along the canal back to the station either again any time soon.

Nah i've never been to yankland either mate. Along with Sydney, NYC is one of the main cities in the world I want to visit. We're going 28th may - 3rd June straight after my summer exams. Just booked up Statue of Liberty today, going to try to book most other things fairly sharpish too to guarantee good seats. Going to broadway show, Mets game etc... Hope you save plenty of your spending money for Vegas mate It's lucky we're doing Vegas last otherwise I could have ended up a bit financially buggered for the trip. Was reading up about Miami yesterday, meant to be really expensive if you don't know where you're going.

When you going to NY Nick? Am going to Miami for 5 nights in April, then to the West Coast (LA, OC, San Diego) and on to Vegas for 4 nights. Never been to America before so pretty excited! Going to Turkey in September for an all inclusive gig with the mrs. Seems like ages away.

Sounded Australian from memory. Just googled it and that guy is in Sons of Anarchy playing an American, didn't have a clue! His American accent must be better than his Geordie accent.
