I could understand the trippier one more. i don't want to sell him either but if BM offer something daft in the region of £20m then it would be hard to turn down from a FFP perspective as it would free up money to spend in this window in areas where we're short and Tino can step in to replace him. It would also be hard to deny Trippier the opportunity to potentially win more trophies at the tail end of his career in Germany if his heart is set on it. I'm struggling to see the benefits in losing Lascelles for peanuts when our reserve options at CB are Burn, who has looked very poor in that position this season, and Krafth, who will do a job but is essentially a full back playing out of position, when the transfer fee for Lascelles plus his Ashley-era wages will have little impact on our ability to invest in this window.
-
we'd be losing a reliable 3rd choice CB for no obvious gain
-
he'll be on mike ashley era wages though. is letting him go now going to have much impact on our january transfer dealings?
-
what's the point? surely the fee is going to be negligible.
-
if that is true, i would ask why. he looks like exactly the sort of player that would have helped with our midfield crisis. capable of playing number 6 or number 8. perhaps we had concerns over his fitness, i dunno. i hope he doesn't turn out to be another diaby/madison. we have missed out on a number of players we were strongly linked with since last summer, all of whom did well elsewhere, while most of our transfers have underwhelmed for various reasons. i hope we don't live to regret this one too.

anyone feel like we missed a trick not going for kalvin phillips?

I sense a deadline day bid coming
-
So now we need a number 8, a number 6 and a number 9

what a knob -
not the Manchester City midfielder we were looking for
-
I get why they would sell him for £15-20m at his age but it’s premature to say he’s peaked. He’s been unbelievable for us since signing bar a little dip in form the past month or so. He’ll be a massive loss were he to go

Can we stop talking about ear wax please

the benefits of Brexit are always just around the corner. Funny, that

Gibbs-White would be great but they’re going to want £40-50m for him.

Check out Alan Oliver Edwards here

wtf is this shite?

because eddie plays with inverted wingers. the focus is on ball-retention, recycling, using the overlapping full back for crosses ideally your inverted winger would have a stronger weak foot than miggy mind!
-
murphy is apparently back in training. gordon could play there if or when barnes ever recovers from his broken toe
-
there are qualities that miggy brings which would 100% be missed. but if a saudi club offers £30m it's a no brainer
