You could get a nice Chablis for under a tenner. Half a bottle for your dish, the rest for you. Bonus

I'll eat my hat if yours ends up looking like that!

I hate the cunt too but not sure I'd go down two divisions to get rid. As mad as it sounds there are probably even worse owners out there, those clowns at Blackburn for example.

I actually admire CT in a weird way. He takes so much piss taking on here from everything from his views on football, to his weight, diet, political views and culinary skills but still he comes back, posting pics of food that looks straight out of 1970s Britain. And to be fair to him, he keeps trying. Not like he's from the generation of celebrity chefs and 24 hour food channels.

Film/moving picture show you most recently watched

Wife and I couldn't agree on a film so opted for more breaking bad. Season 5 is getting dark as. They used to be goofy and the comedy was black. Now it's just black. Walt is turning into a bad ass and there's not much to laugh about anymore. It's going to end in tears -
Xhamster - nice tip lads. Been getting bored of pornhub and youporn

The squad will still have been too thin but we might not have found ourselves in a relegation battle if debuchy and Douglas had played the majority of the season instead of Simpson and Williamson.
-
No good though when the second string aren't even championship standard though is it? It's a squad game. We have a good first team, with some quality players, but probably one of the weakest squads in terms of depth in the division. That should have been sorted in the summer.

Nailed it. Calling for Pardew's head is daft. He's unlikely to be replaced by a better manager given the financial constraints imposed by the owner. And the outgoings are unlikely to change so the squad will reman wafer thin. Plus we'll have to rely on players signed on the cheap not picking up injuries to keep the likes of Nile Ranger out of the team. This is the state of play under Ashley. Last season was as good as it'll get. And we've seen how bad it can get.

Quite moving visiting some of the old battlegrounds in northern France, lots of trenches, craters etc still intact.

i remember a lot of people saying that the last time we went down. it's being contemplated because of our form. 10 defeats in 12 games is relegation form, whichever way you look at it. last year the same group of players were mostly fit and in the main, played together all season. plus they went on an unbeaten run at the start of the season similar to this run of defeats. winning breeds confidence; losing kills it. the big worry for me, aside from the lack of depth and one dimensional tactics, is the lack of spirit. it's been a big factor for us the last three seasons. it's the first time since the relegation season that we've put a run of gutless performances in. and that's worrying.

what an absolutely shit season we're having. still one less competition to worry about; wouldn't surprise me if pardew is alright with that given our league situation and the uefa cup distraction - the team he selected says a lot about where he thinks our priorities should lie.
-
this team out today is as crap a newcastle side as i've seen in a while.

Blue Star too. Plenty of old household names there you don't see these days. Love the three comments about me like: grumpy Bit of a cock (thanks Stevie) ... and gets confused with the other Dan

it wouldn't surprise me if speculation starts to mount about pardew's job if we lose this one.

Absolutely crippled after three days training this week following the best part of two weeks doing fuck all. Massage on the way home for me

it took cabaye a few months before he started showing his true quality. he wasn't that impressive at first, but then you wouldn't expect that to be the case as the premiership is the quickest league in the world. same applies to debuchy. we could do with him being one of those signings that hits the ground running though, the situation we find ourselves in.

Berlin is lovely for a weekend away with the mrs, as is Munich. Frankfurt is a dreadful place - avoid. I'm off to Hamburg for a stag do in a few months. Not sure what it's like for a weekend with the wife but I gather it's along the lines of Amsterdam - culture and hedonism in equal measure. Madrid's a cool place too. Of all those, I'd probably go to Amsterdam if you haven't been as an adult.
