  1. entourage. best us sitcom since curb your enthusiasm
  2. haven't watched eastenders since i was a student
  3. lazy sundays. fried breakfast followed by coffee, spliffs, sunday papers, a sunday roast, a nap on the couch and then a film in the evening. superb
  4. exactly. keegan said as much a few days ago. it doesn't look like any of his targets facnied joining us. any signings would have been panic buys. i think he was right not to go in for defoe.
  5. shame really as i thought he looked alright early doors.
  6. haven't seen it but i don't mind ross kemp on gangs the one in el salvador was mint
  7. you're a lucky sod if you enjoy your job.
  8. This ones even worse than the Sib window that was acutally quite funny in the end
  9. fuck me this is depressing. can anyone remember the last window where they were genuinely happy with the outcome and optimistic about the season ahead? i'd say the summer we signed owen and solano but look how that one turned out...
  10. Zero pace in midfield like. wright philips and young on the bench if required. i'm surprised lennon didn't make the squad actually. fm-tastic how would you line them up?
  11. --------------------------------David James Micah Richards------Rio Ferdinand---------Ledley King --------Wayne Bridge David Bentley-------Steven Gerrard----Owen Hargreaves-------Joe Cole ----------------------Wayne Rooney-------Gabriel Agbonlahor
  12. has the full squad been announced? i can't see it online anywhere
  13. i think owen being left out is the right move. he doesn't deserve to be in it on current form
  14. Saving money till the summer seems to be the official line now. Keeping our powder dry. But Woody went to Spurs so we might as well sell it now. corection: we stood aside to let him sign for spurs (copyright alan oliver)
  15. Hardly, he'd been told it was over. second choice steve always said the door was open to be fair if that's what you're referring to. if beckham had stayed at madrid or gone to a top european side, hw ould almost certainly have picked up 100 caps. but then he wouldn't be on the £25m a season or whatever it is, he's on now Ok then, he thought his England career was over when he decided to go (same goes for his Madrid career). Don't blame him for going anyway, he had nothing left to prove. well yes, but he can't begrudge the fact that his england carreer is over one short of 100 caps. he chose the money to play in a league that's about as competitive as the english league 2 instead of signing for one of the top european clubs (which he could have done) and staying on to fight for his place in the england set up. I know where you're coming from (I can definitely see both sides to this one), I just think it would be both a nice gesture and get the story out of the way in what is the archetypal nothing game. if i was cappelo i'd play him too. then it wouldn't be hanging over him for the remainder of his time in charge of england. you know that as soon as we go through a sticky streak, the rags will be on at him to recall goldenballs.
  16. Gosh that would be terrific. why would he give up a regular place in one of the most exciting man u teams for years to play for us? never going to happen
