Especially when he has just splashed £6m on one and is playing a left winger there.... i don't understand why he isn't playing enrique there more often. he's looked decent so far to me, while zoggy looks a far better bet further forward on the left wing - especially ahead of milner, who should be starting on the right ahead of the likes of geremi and smith.

i'm still absolutely gutted for hatton like. i don't think i've ever been so bothered about a british boxer losing a fight before. it's probably because he's blatantly just such a good lad and he was outclassed and knocked on his arse with the whole world watching. like everyone else, i got caught up in the hopeless optimism and actually thought he had a decent chance of winning on the night. i've been much more down about hatton losing than the england football team not qualifying for the euros. obviously that won't be the case next summer when we're twiddling our thumbs, but it's hard to give a shit about overrated and unlikable twats like lampard, ferdinand et al getting what they deserve than a top boy like hatton losing out. ricky's blantantly the people's champion. the supprt for him in vegas was different class, although the booing of the us national anthem was absolutely childish. when are these cretins going to give it a rest? it's bad enough doing it at wembley for the football but doing it on foreign soil is beyond a joke.

aye. vitamin c is the daddy when it comes to keeping the lurgy at bay. but you're probably best off just eating a couple of oranges a day and drinking plenty of fresh orange juice

i can't see why a new left back should be a priority. it's midfield that needs sorting

this is england is next on my list. have you seen it? i've only read good reviews of it -
legend. sadly it looks like his time is almost up. no one can survive cancer that many times. it'll always get you in the end
-
agreed. it's the lack of quality in midfield, and the right wing specifically, that has to be addressed. surely a combination of enrique, zoggy and cacapa at left back is enough?

the whole positive discrimination thing only works if the person can do the job in the first place. crooks is an awful pundit. that lass commentator is beyond shite. you don't deserve to be given a high profile job that many others could do far better just because you're black or a woman. fuck me, i sound like a daily mail reader. it's pc GONE MAD
-
and fuck me, what's that female commentator all about? she sounds like a 9 year old boy
-
how did this joker ever get a job as a pundit? absolutely shocking

hatton was outclassed on the night. out thought and out boxed. fair play to him though; he put in a good shift against the best fighter in the world at the moment and he took some heavy shots before he finally went down. his defence let him down mind and he walked on to far too many shots but the ref didn't do him any favours. he could have been a bit more gracious in defeat too - mayweather didn't come across as such a prick in the post fight interview and he sounded to me like he was hinting at the possibility of a rematch. hatton needs it like a hole in the head if you ask me. he should go back down a a weight.

i thought with the additions to the squad that we'd do better this season than last time around. it's the tactics, selections, negative use of subs and the way big sam has set the team out that has been most disappointing. like others have said, we've looked as bad, if not worse than we did under roeder and souness. early days but i think most of us expected at least a small improvement. i hope the recent run of results was a blip but i can't remember us playing well at all this season, even when we were winning games.

How could Smith be a letdown for you? You've reckoned he was shit since day one. He's just lived up to your expectations, no? he's been far shitter than i expected but i'd say that's largely down to him being played out of position and i blame the manager for that. it's plain to see that he's no midfielder. i actually don't think smith is shite up front. he's a half decent striker on his day but i do think spending £6m on a 4th choice forward was a bit of a waste. The other day (before the Arsenal game) you were mocking me for saying I rate him quite right

viduka and smith have both been massive let downs so far like. viduka has been even fatter and lazier than expected. with smith, it's more the manager's fault for playing him out of position but he's still looked poor in the majority of games.

anyone into entourage? i just got the first two series on dvd. it's not a bad us comedy actually, love matt dillon's brother's character

You're right about those good positions, I bet we highly rewarded the manager who got us them, remind me of his treatment. I've not really much to say about that comment, other than you have just confirmed what clueless moron you are. I take it you are talking about the manager who didn't want to know Newcastle United [his hometown club] when we had shit directors ? Come back and reply, when you absorb this. howay man leazes, even considering how much you rate what shepherd and the halls did for the club you have to admit that their treatment of robson was pretty shoddy - especially after he took us to three consequtive top 5 finishes.
-
agreed. i reckon he really fancies himself in that role. might explain why he feels the need to throw his shirt into the crowd after every game.

agree on your point about andy gray fish. he really seems to dislike us, the old balding jock cock-knocker
