Free on probably 50k for 2 years or 10m on 50k for 5 years and handing in a transfer request after 2 years because Man U are calling. Yep much better solution. Oh don't forget Viduka is so fat his arse has its' own post code. you reckon nugent would command the same wages as viduka? knowing us i reckon we'll hand viduka about £60-70k per week. Nugent would probably be on about half that as a young player in his first season in the top flight.

i'd sooner we went for someone like david nugent. viduka will save us the transfer fee but i imagine he'll cost at least twice as much in wages and he's a short term solution.

emre isn't nearly as bad as some are making out. defintely one of the better midfielders on our book. we looked at our best last season when he was in the middle alongside butt...ie when parker wasn't in the side

considering they're two of our better players, i'd try and keep them. i'd sooner see parker, carr and babayaro sling their hook

The fact he's free this time round and last time it was said it was a £5 million deal that needed Milner to be flogged in order to finance it might have something to do with it. he's a decent player when he's up for it. still doesn't change the fact that he's a fat lazy ozzie that only turns up when he fancies it.

funny how everyone's singing viduka's praises. quite the opposite reaction to the last time we were linked with him.

i'd be happy for parker to go for around £8m. not too sure about this ghanian chap though. could be a sign of things to come under allardyce. lower profile signings with smaller price tags. not necesarily a bad thing either
