Looking forward to a lovely day. Off to Newcastle with the bairn to see Fenwicks window, have lunch and then off to see my mam singing at the City Hall this afternoon. Home later to watch Elf and put the Christmas tree up in my new house.

I feel sorry for her. I'm sure that if she hadn't been admitted to hospital that they wouldnt have announced this yet as she's probably not even 12 weeks yet. The poor lass is now going to be mercilessly hounded for the next 7 months. Pregnancy is scary and stressful enough without having to play it out in front of the world.

Horrific story. Easy to say that he 'should have got help' but you've no idea what state he was in mentally or why he did what he did. My cousin killed himself in front of his parents in July and we're dealing with the consequences of that on a daily basis. There was no indication that he was "planning" anything and despite years of depression and other mental problems he'd never ever hurt himself or anyone else. There's no explanation for why he did what he did, and maybe it's the same in this case. Tragic for everyone involved - especially those left behind.

Cleaning the bathroom is the worst job. Ironing is quite therapeutic so I don't mind doing that.
