My dad had throat cancer when I was 14. It was diagnosed early and he had 30 sessions of radiotherapy (it was over Christmas as I recall - which just made it worse) It was a horrible, dark time but he beat it and is still here over 20 years later. My heart goes out to all of the Robson family as it affects everyone and I wish them the strength to get through.

Sat and watched the original Toy Story with the bairn today. it's the first full film he's sat through from beginning to end with wide-eyed wonder on his face. Absolutely precious

April showers?? We're having them now - they're early!!

The wind has been bloody metal all night. There are dead wheelie bins all over Gateshead. I had to run into the road and rescue a bin before there was an accident during rush hour on Old Durham Rd this morning.

It's the bairns birthday so it's a pancake party tea here.
