An absolute disgrace. No wonder he's champion of so many games
  2. Not necessarily. As long as it's healthy and viable for transplant, they could still use it along with liver, kidneys, pancreas, lungs, corneas and even bowel, skin and bones these days.
  3. Isn't that contrary to what Catmag has just said? Your next of kin CAN stop the retrieval, but are less likely to do so if you're on the register. No surgeon is going to go ahead with organ retrieval if a patients family are stood there saying that they refuse permission to do so. And no, if you're registered you don't need a card. If the situation arises where you could be considered as a donor then the transplant team will check the register to see if your wishes are there.
  4. There's been an incident ongoing since about midnight and both the Swing Bridge and the Tyne Bridge are currently CLOSED. Police are in negotiations with a man who sounds like he's trying to hoy himself over the side. Just thought I should warn you!!

I swear on my cats lives that I have not cheated to get my scores. I just became obsessed with it and played it to death. There are certain layouts that I skip cos they take longer to clear, but that's not cheating. I think Pud cheated to beat me like
  6. I know we've done this topic before but I thought I would re-advertise the fact that there is a MASSIVE shortage of organs needed for donation in this country. I've been part of an organ retrieval here at work tonight where a 29 year-old man who had a brain haemmorhage a couple of days ago was pronounced clinically brain-dead earlier today. His parents gave permission for us to retrieve some of his organs for donation to others and that took place this evening. Do people still carry donor cards or is anyone registered on the offical organ donor register? It's still the case in this country that no matter what your personal wishes, it will ultimately be the decision of your loved ones as to whether your organs are donated, but if you are registered then the transplant team can make reference to this in discussions with the family and consent is more likely to be given. If anyone is willing to become registered as a donor it literally takes one minute to fill in the form, and it's Here
  7. I'm not convinced that it's otitis media like. More likely to be an ear/throat infection or a fluey virus by the sounds of you this morning. Best to get it sorted though. Going on the lash on Thursday will not help in the slightest but I'm not even going to start to tell you not to bother cos I know where I'll be told to go...
  8. I must have In that case, apologies for the 7 or 8 you probably picked up from me during the Bolton match It's getting far too prevalent. I swear I have a 6th sense for it and it's not a good thing. It's like being a c-word clairvoyant.
  9. Lots to do.. blah blah blah. The kind of stuff I usually come up with when I'm too ill to go to work but go in anyway...
  10. It's pointless - I've just spoken to Ms Toplass and she's going to work against my advice. And she sounds like shit. Bad girl

Aye. My boobs got in the way as I was typing so I'm definitely a woman... Ohhh I knew I had a bone to pick with you! I was reliably informed that you'd been eyeing them up in The Lodge when we were out in the summer! Bad Jimbo
  16. I saw him on that Heaven and Earth show last week and must admit that I found it all very creepy. It's a gift that he doesn't like to talk about so he thought he'd mention it on the BBC...

It looked like he was just fighting to showcase himself to the Americans for a future payday. Oh and I can't stand Frank Warren, but that's another issue..

Nasty, wasn't it? As they were saying on the commentary, it definitely wasn't one for the purists.

Anyone watching the fight? I think Calzaghe thought this one would be a bit of a walkover but it looks like he's flagging at the moment. Most of it is more like a wrestling match at the mo aswell as Biko is tending to favour the headbutting method of boxing..
  21. 27th Warming me hands ready for ya!!! Ooooooo Can't wait!
